Just received these when I got home last night. The fit is perfect. The color is perfect. These shorts are very soft, yet thicker and more durable feeling... except for the pair I was sent. The stitching right in the seat of the pants was delivered busted open and frayed.I know these aren’t an expensive pair of athletic shorts, but I’d had them on my wishlist for months and was pretty disappointed when I opened them up and saw this. Certainly can’t wear them like this: not only would I be advertising my underwear color to everyone behind me, but with this poor of seam work that area is gonna burst open after just a few wears.I’d like to exchange them for a new pair, and I’ll update this review to, I imagine, a 5-Star review. this seems like a rare occurrence based on the other reviews.UPDATE: Item was immediately exchanged, and the new pair is perfect! Material is soft and comfortable. Waist is adjustable for weight fluctuations. You definitely get value for your money.

These shorts look great, feel nice and soft, and fit me perfectly (5'8", the XS shorts end just above my knee). They're thin but still feel like they have some weight to them. No complaints whatsoever with the style and fit, and at $10 the price is amazing too. However:- The quality is noticeably crappy. Right out of the packaging there are threads hanging off all over the place. It seems like at least half of the stitching wasn't actually finished correctly to keep it from slowly unraveling. I would gladly pay an extra $5-10 per pair if Brooklyn Athletics would invest in some better Quality Control.- At least one other reviewer mentioned the small pockets. Don't expect to store much in your pockets, and don't expect anything to stay put if you sit down. I'm really not bothered by this though since I primarily use these for the gym.Ultimately I will probably buy another pair of these when the first ones unravel relatively soon. Even with the significant quality issues, I think they're still worth the <$10 price tag.Update May 1, 2020: I added a star because these shorts have somehow managed to stay together through about 18 months of frequent use (despite continued fraying of a few seams and a repaired pocket). I’m literally living in two different pair of these shorts during social distancing so it’s only fair I improve my original review from 3 to 4 stars. Purchasing a third pair now so I can continue to avoid real pants.

I plan to buy a few more pair of these shorts. They are comfortable, great quality, and super soft.

Well Made and fit right

These WOULD be great shorts. They're soft, and comfortable, the material feels sturdy, they'd be great for athletic activities.Except for ONE thing, that almost everyone making athletic shorts just utterly ignores.POCKETS.Not only are these not deep enough, but they cheaped out on making them, by sewing the cloth for the pocket directly into the pants -- e.g., not a "sack attached to the pants, a section of cloth attached directly to the pants." So, not only is anything IN the pockets likely to fall out when active -- they aren't deep enough to fully cover a typical smart phone, which will be sticking out of the pocket -- it is almost CERTAIN to fall out when sitting down, along with anything else in those pockets.Clearly some couch-potato designer set these up, because anyone who actually wore them to any kind of athletic activity would have seen this issue immediately.Key Fob, Phone, Credit/Gym Card? Nope, not going to stay in these pockets. Have somewhere else for them to be.

Had this product for years now it’s starting to break down. I came back to their page to buy again the American flag shirts but it’s not available. It’s ok I’ll buy the other two shorts they offer. These shorts never fail I use for casual and gym use I have things in my pockets and the shorts never sag. Great product I recommend I buy the large.

i ordered a large even though i wear a medium. but was still way too small.

La tela es de buena calidad, muy suave, el resorte muy bien también. Pedí la talla chica para mi hijo de 10 años y le quedó bien, así que la talla creo que podría venir chica.

The shorts looks great.. exactly like the pic.. but since I'm more of a perfectionist when it comes to details.. I noticed that one of the leg part of the shorts on the stars side was at least 1.5 inch wider then the other side... a bit disappointing but I tried to fix it.

Fue un regalo para mi novio. Está fascinado. Es suave, de muy buena calidad y justo como se ve en la foto. El largo que tiene es perfecto y sienta muy bien al cuerpo. Compraré más sin dudarlo, porque no se lo quiere ni quitar.

Really goood quality shorts. Great materials and stichings, pockets could be a bit deeper.
