Yes, they are all the same most basic puzzle shape of two innies and two outies. Amazon should require that to be disclosed as many of us prefer a puzzle with a variety of shapes and sizes.

Q: do the puzzles have letters on the back of each piece to help with sorting ?

Quite surprised that there are several "no" answers. Mine definitely has letters on the back to help with sorting.

Q: how thick are the pieces? (cardboard thickness or +\- 1/16")

Definitely not 1/8“ or even 1/16.”. I just left a 1 star review because of my disappointment with this one. I measured the pieces with a caliper and they are 1/32” thin.
