Good for the price.
Arrived in good time and condition. Used only once so far and very happy. Small size and light weight when packed is ideal for me on motorcycle journeys with all the rest of my gear. Very pleased and would happily recommend.

Great
Used on the beach every day for my recent vacation. The chair is relatively easy to put up you do need to pull the fabric to insert the last corner. But after a couple of uses it gets easier. Both users are over 90k one well over and this had no problem at all. So good I am thinking of getting a second one

Fiddly to assemble, not that sturdy and surprisingly heavy
This is a folding chair for camping, picnics and the like.On the plus side, it is actually reasonably comfortable, and folds down into a small carrying case with a shoulder strap. However, it is really quite fiddly to assemble - getting the fabric taut enough to fit onto the frame is a struggle. Unlike the more common larger folding chairs, getting this one set up or taken down is a couple of minutes of fiddling and swearing - and I suspect if it rains while it is assembled and the fabric gets wet, it will shrink slightly and be even harder to take apart. It also feels quite flimsy when assembled; I'm 12 stone and it took my weight ok, but it didn't inspire confidence. It's also a lot heavier than you might expect when in the carry case. You are probably not going to get a more comfortable chair in a smaller package than this, but there are compromises involved to make it both small and comfy.

Very easy to assemble and out away
Really easy to set up and put away takes less than a minute. One star off as it’s not the most comfortable but for the pack size it’s great

Light, stable, surprisingly substantial and reasonably comfortable - but needs some muscle!
Considering how light this is, and how compact in its carry sack, this little chair is remarkably robust and stable. The canvas is tough and well-reinforced in all the right places, the chair has two handy pockets which hang down on either side and the metal frame almost literally puts itself together - all the pieces are linked by strong elastic cord, rather like a folding walking stick, and just require seating firmly together.Once the metal frame is securely fixed, you 'just' have to slip the canvas seat onto the four points of the chair. The instructions say 'insert forcefully' ... and they're not joking. You need strong hands and arms to do it - not to mention grim determination. It does say elsewhere in the instructions that the material will stretch with use, so the whole operation will presumably become easier (one hopes). That aside, once you've actually got it all put together, it's a good little chair and you can have some faith in it. The weight limit is technically 135kg (ie: about 21 stone) ... but, to be honest, anyone of that size would probably find it uncomfortable and difficult to get out of easily. I'm 5'8" and about 11stone and it's good for me ... not the most comfortable camp chair I've ever sat in, but perfectly okay for its intended use. (In my case, I wanted a chair I could quickly and easily put outside on warm days to take advantage of the sun when it appears, without having to wrestle a sun-lounger down from its shelf in the garage. Sun in Scotland has a tendency to be fleeting, and vanishes the moment I've got the lounger set up.)All things considered (size, weight, quality, strength), I think it's a reasonable price and a good buy. Just make sure you have someone strong around the first time you put it together ...

Deceptively sturdy
Heavier than you'd think but still lightweight. Definitely lighter than a standard folding camping chair and a lot less bulky. This is the size of a handbag making it a lot more portable in my view. I decided to assemble without casting a look at the instructions and found it intuitive. It's fully collapsed in the bag and the poles assemble easily due to being connected by strong elastic. Fitting the last pole into the seat cover is a bit of a tight squeeze, but once that's done the seat it good to go. It's deceptively sturdy and comfortable. I'm 5'2" and find it to be just the right size for me with my back supported and feet touching the ground. My partner who is much taller also found it comfortable and secure enough. This chair will come in very handy on days out. I like the foot-covers which will make the chair a lot more stable on soft ground such as mud or sand, and the storage pockets are useful.I'm not sure why backpacking chairs are so much more expensive than standard camping chairs, but compared to other backpacking chairs this comes in at a good price.
