Extender for brick plugs
Just long enough to get a few brick plugs off a couple of surge protectors in my house and freed up some plugs. Nice quality and plugs fit snug. May order more.

Work well for what they are intended.
I use this to connect a plug with a ground default unit. This type of plug will not work with a receptacle built for an outside receptacle. Receptacle box get in the way of the plug. These units work great to bring the power out of the box. I have had one in use for a season out side in direct sun light and it looks like new. Expect it to last for at least a few years.

Solid feeling extender cords
Had an AC Adapter that sit sideways on a power strip, making it bulky in a tight space next to a cabinet. This seemed to be the most cost effective solution.Came in a basic bag, four total. Each one with a safety tag attached (promptly removed).Measured it out, from tip to tip (including the prongs) works out to about 9 1/2" long. Thickness of the wire is 5/16" thick. Wire is fairly stiff, almost would think it is 14 ga (although write-up says 16 ga).Wire is stamped SJTW (Basically telling you it is thermoplastic and weather resistant, Google it), 300 V, 105 deg celcius, 1.31 mm (there is the 16 ga reference). As for usage, plugs into a power strip snugly (not loose from too thin blades). The socket end was the same. When I plugged in the AC adapter to it, it gave a firm grip on the blades as well.Does what it needs to. Feels well built (for a wire). Overall satisfied with it.

Solid build quality. My only nitpick is the plugs are not aligned.
Solid build quality! My only nitpick, and the reason I subtracted 1 star, is the male and female plugs are not aligned with one another on each cord. They are misaligned by about 90 degrees on average. For example, let's say I plug the male plug into a wall receptacle, and then look at the orientation of the female plug, it will be rotated about 90 degrees. If I try to twist the female plug into alignment with the male plug, it will spring right back out of alignment as soon as I let go, due to how short and stiff the cord is. I realize many people won't care about this, and I do admit it is a nitpick, but it really annoys me. I wish the manufacturer had taken the time to align the plugs during assembly.

Solidly made and good value
We needed short extensions for several outlets on the outside of our home that are recessed in weatherproof boxes (we have brick siding). Various plugs for things like timers just did not fit into the boxes given the orientation of the outlets. These were a good length and the plug end allows us to use both outlets in the weatherproof box. Nice heavy gauge of wire.

Great extensions
These 1' extensions are top quality. Using one outside for a battery maintainer and it is open to the elements of snow. Zero problems and the plug fit on both ends is super tight. Nothing cheap about these, great purchase!

Very solid quality overall and appears to have valid ETL/UL certs in place
I like these short extension cables.Everything about them seem legit - the thickness of the cables, the quality of the plastics and connectors, the "300V C(UL) 16 AWG" specs/rating molded directly into the cable, polarized female plug, the overall quality - everything. If I had to nitpick anything (and this is a bit of a stretch) it would be that the tolerances inside the female plugs might be a little off - anything I plug into them seems to be able to slide out 2-3mm pretty easily before they hit resistance, which is unlike typical extension cords I use.In case you are wondering why the heck you need an 8 inch extension cord, look at the last picture. It's so you can (for example) put more power bricks onto a single power bar. Charging bricks are typically oversized and tend to cover up adjacent plugs - this allows you to plug those bricks into these cords and have room for other plugs. Keep your individual devices under the 13A limit (not recommended for pressure cookers or counter top ovens, for example - these might use up to the 15A maximum). Power bricks are very low current so you can use a bunch of these as long as your overall current use on the power bar is under its maximum rating (typically 15A).Recommended!
