Wifi Smart Plug, Swiftrans Wireless switch, Remote Control your Devices from Anywhere, Compatible with Alexa

Very easy to configure, one the app is installed. The was a little confusion during the initial programming while getting it connected to my cell phone using WiFi, but once i figured that part out (instructions for the app are lacking), the rest was a snap. I will definitely be buy more of these.Follow up (with a star status change from 4 to 1) : I have had these running now for 3 days. and they suck. At first it was great, but 3 out of 3 lose their network connection withing 4 hours everyt ime. One of them I had to completely reprogram just to get it back online. The other two just wont respond unless power cycled and allowed to re-log back onto the wifi network. If I still had the packing, they would all be going back, but now they are just going in the trash.

Bought for my powerline adapter since it is getting hot even when it is idle. The setup process is simple, just get the app and follow the screen tips (basically starts with a 5 second long press). It has functions like on/off switch, countdown, and timer, that's it. But for me, it's too much because on/off switch is the only thing I want. Moreover, User interface is simple, too. I can find the on/off button easily (it's almost everywhere). Finally, if I have to make some suggestions, I will say it's nice to have more functions like when my phone approaches home, it triggers the switch on/off, as well as when it leaves home. Works as expected so that five stars.

It works well with the app, but there is no "away mode" setting. The product information is not correct. I have not tried link it to Alexa yet.Update: See vendor comments below, the away mode is just a general description, you can set your timer to turn on and off but it will not do this randomly. I appreciate the vendor's follow up, and the timer works perfectly, but unfortunately I bought the product for it's away mode and now have to return it. I will try a TP-Link power plug which as away mode in their app.

Initially, I was never going to buy this plugs. I thought that if the day came that, if I was too lazy to get up and turn off a lamp, I just needed to pack it in. In the end, I broke down for two reasons. I no longer have to walk into a dark house ( you can switch on the lights from anywhere on your phone app). Also, being able to switch lamps off and on anywhere, anytime, REMOTELY, is a crime deterrent. It is much better than a timer. There is a funny commercial running showing a kid playing with the app and switching lights on and off all over the house making it look haunted, but it makes the point. So now I have FOUR of these. Highly recommend! Better than timers.

I was happy with the price compared to other smart plugs, but you get what you pay for. Plugged my living room lamp in, downloaded the app and connected to our Echo. So far, so good. Unfortunately, this smart plug caused the lamp to randomly turn off and back on approximately every 15 minutes. Beyond annoying. I thought it might be an issue with out wifi, so I bought the TP Link smart plug and haven't had any flickering problems, so I know the issue isn't on our end.

I bought this Smart Plug as well as a Belkin WeMo from a retail store. The Swiftrans was basically plus & play while the WeMo needed a firmware update and then the WeMo would not work until I removed the app, reloaded the app then play with the reset button in a select order - it took me 3 days to get the Belkin WeMo to work. The Swiftrans works very well as the app software is very user friendly so I ordered 2 more :)

Didn't really know what to do with this. Bought it just for trial. But now I love it so much!My son always wakes up during night time. And I have to turn the light on to see him. The light is away from the bed which makes me need to get out of bed and turn the light on. But with this, I can just turn the light on with my phone! (My son sleeps with me in one bed and he's 3 months old only)This is really convenient!!

So far it works perfectly with Alexa!Follow up review: Changed from 5 stars to one star. I've had this since June 2017 and it works perfectly with Alexa and the app on my phone. However, this week after it is turned on either with Alexa or the scheduled time it will turn off periodically for several seconds then turn back on. Very annoying. I think it should last more than 7 months!
