Fits in a Ford Bronco and it’s loud!
I was skeptical because originally I purchased the 8 inch. It did improve the bass lows and it is perfectly fine if you don’t need booming sound. However, the 10” has 1000 watts of boom! It seems twice as loud and I almost have to adjust the knob to turn down on some songs. My bronco did not come with any decent speakers or sub so I replaced the rear and all front speakers and added a kicker key. However, you don’t need to do all that if you are simply looking for more bass lows. Also, if you are wiring this thing I highly recommend you wire the high end connector instead of RCAs. I found it to be better with no after sounds rumbles when idle and it seems more stable. Wired that directly to my front kicker speakers and the yellow auxiliary which is Aux 1 on the bronco. The wiring diagram made it easy to match wires. I put a wiring nut in the small ground wire basically capped it off. The main ground wired to the seat bolt beside the amp. Cleaned all the wires up with loom and wire tape sounds amazing great value. Pay the extra few $$ for the 10”. Hope this helps someone!

Works great, modest price, built like a tank
I bought a slightly-used ski boat in July. No stereo but otherwise a very nice boat. No problem--rather than install a conventional receiver as on the old boat I instead bought a Bluetooth speaker setup from a company called "Herdio" which used 4" dual-cone flush-mount speakers. Which works great; Bluetooth connects to my phone in a few seconds and the sound is clear and loud enough for a running ski boat. Of course, no bass, since the speakers are mounted in part of the fiberglass interior and thus the bass from the rear of the speakers can get out and cancel the bass from the front. So I bought this woofer from Sound Storm to fill in. Very surprised by the quality. The thing was inexpensive, surprisingly heavy, built like a tank, and sounds great. The beefy metal case gets warm during use, so I assume it's part of the heat sink. The typical situation is to mount it under a front seat in a car, but in my case it is mounted on an unseen carpeted area under the boat's dashboard. The combo sounds really impressive. I have many albums on my phone and of course I can also tap into numerous streaming music sources on the Internet. One little negative: there are two ways to wire this woofer into your system, high and low-level. Low level connects via RCA plugs to a system that has low level outputs via RCA jacks. The second option is to use the actual speaker feeds, which is a much larger signal. On the unit I received, the high level connection didn't work. But the low level inputs did, and I discovered that if I turned the volume adjustment (via screwdriver) all the way down, the signal was low enough to not overload the unit. I could have returned the unit for another, but since the alternative input method worked just fine, no need. All in all, a very nice woofer at an amazing price. Clean output adjustable for frequency band, bass boost, and level. And (usually) a choice of high or low-level inputs.

Better than expected!
I used this to compliment the speakers in my Jeep, I am pleasantly surprised with the sound, for its size its impressive. Its not gonna rattle mirrors, but it makes a terrible stereo sound high end when set up right. Been installed about 2 months so far and holding up well.

Works.
Good inexpensive sub.

Meh
For the price I can not complain, but if your looking for a sub that pushes some loud bass, this Sub is not it. It helps with sound QUALITY, but overall loudness and bass amplification it does little to nothing.
