I was tired of poorly designed tempered glass protectors. IQ Shield saves the day.
Originally, I used Zagg HD glass for my S8+, but realized rather quickly that it would fall off almost every month; I needed a protector with an adhesive on the ENTIRE screen and not just the edges. I realized, I wasn't going to get that as a reliable option if I stuck to the "tempered glass" protectors. Enter IQ Shield. I've used IQ Shield for my Samsung Gear Fit 2 watch, and have been in love with the product. (I'm active and smack my watch against everything and haven't had a single issue). So, I decided to give IQ Shield a try on my Samsung Galaxy S8+.Although, I was already familiar with the installation process, I still watched their instructional video on their website. I watched it twice, just because I wanted to make sure I did this right. If you literally follow what they tell you, you have all the tools you need to install it correctly. I put the protector on a couple hours before I went to bed, and in the morning I put my phone case back on. I know this won't truly protect my phone from drops directly on the screen (like the tempered glass protectors... which all seem to hate curved edges...), so I made sure my phone case had a little bit of a "lip" or an edge that was above the screen and not flush with it. That way, if my phone falls to the ground, at least their will be a bit of a buffer. Unless the screen lands directly on a rock or a corner.I've already seen the IQ Shield "self-healing" screen in action on my watch and know it will do the same thing on my phone, and I love that they packaged an ADDITIONAL screen protector in case I make poor life choices. For those of you who are wary of deviating from a tempered glass protector, I promise you that I felt the same way. You won't be disappointed, just invest in a case that offers a drop buffer.

Great Screen Protector for S8+
As a preface, I always prefer glass screen protectors when available. Due to the nature of the Galaxy S8+'s screen, I decided to get this screen protector since I haven't found any glass screen protector alternative. I've used film like screen protectors in the past, for my Galaxy S6 Edge, and tended not to like them. The ones I used felt plasticy, and were very prone to fingerprints.I just got a new phone, and was in need of a screen protector. I was weary of buying a film protector for my S8+, but am glad I did. The installation process was very simple. Follow the instructions included and you'll be fine. I let mine rest overnight without touching it, and I have no air bubbles. The screen protector fits great with my case, is super clear, and although can't compete with the feel of glass, gets very close to it. The only small issue I have with it is that fingerprints can show up from time to time, but they can be easily wiped away.If you're looking for a screen protector for your S8+, don't hesitate to buy this screen protector. IQ Shield makes the best film screen protector i've used thus far.

decent quality - alignment and fit could be improved
The quality of the actual film itself seems good.>My issue is that there are cutouts on the top to make it symmetrical when the phone itself S8+ doesn't have camera nodes on the top left, yet this film has cutouts for it. The result is less coverage than could otherwise be obtained.>Additionally, the film doesn't seem to fully cover the edges as much as I'd like. The fit isn't perfect, but I can't help but think the specifications could have been a little more polished such that the film was correct proportionally and even with respect to it's alignment. What I mean by that is when you align the top cutouts for the camera, the film isn't necessarily aligned correctly at the bottom so you have to shift it which results in the sides being unevenly covered with film.

Easy to install as long as you follow the instruction video.
I tried a couple of other tempered glass protectors for my S8+ before getting the IQ Shield, and they were both awful despite being highly rated here on Amazon. Both would not stick correctly, and reduced the responsiveness of the touch screen. So I went back to IQ Shield, which I used on my old phone.Once again I am delighted with it immediately, it installs super easily, and with a little patience and following the instructions the curved edges of the screen were no problem. It also covers right to the edge of the screen without interfering with how the case fits. I like this a lot as I find that tiny gap to be a real smutz trap otherwise. As long as you follow the instruction video, this screen goes on super easy and really does protect your screen. I love them, and will just stick to them from now on.

this one is definitely the better one. Make sure you saturate the screen protector ...
Out of the two brands of screen protectors I've tried the S8+, this one is definitely the better one. Make sure you saturate the screen protector with the solution so that it's easy to slide onto the phone. The most challenging part is getting the adhesive to stick to the curved part of the phone. I've had to babysit the edges for a couple days now, running the squigee along the sides to encourage the adhesive to stick. It's still not quite perfect (I think the instructions recommend hitting it with a hair dryer), but it's good enough to not be distracting.
