Although stainless, they will rust if you are close to the ocean. The 304 grade stainless is not good enough of a grade in a marine environment. 316 would be needed. Otherwise the produce is good.

These are all metal, the ones at Home Depot & Lowes have plastic at the base where they attach to roof /fence. Installed about 10 feet on top of wooden fence to keep squirrels from jumping on my roof, running across and onto neighbors tree. Also used 30# dbl stick tape to attach to shingles on roof where 1 roof was above another part of roof. Also attached to roof by neighbors tree hoping to keep squirrels off roof. So far no squirrels getting onto roof & driving dogs up the wall. So far so good. Have to see how they survive the winter when it usually gets wet in CA.

We have been in a battle with this family of pigeons for a few years. Trying a few different things to keep them out. This was what we should have done all along. Husband said these were a little difficult to cut to the right size, and he poked himself more then once screwing them into our porch. Using some colorful language, but they are SO amazing I don't even care. We only put these in our backyard, and today I saw a pigeon on my front porch :( Guess it's time to buy more for the front.
