Easier to peel eggs!
This worked very well. The key is to pull the eggs out of the hot water with a slotted spoon, let them sit in ice water for 15 minutes, then peel them and return them to the hot water to heat up again.

Works Great
This is perfect for boiling eggs! Cracking on the counter has always worked but sometimes can cause a mess. This is also great for making a starter hole to chip open if you are blowing out your eggs, I predominantly do this with Goose eggs but have done duck and chicken as well.

Eggs peel easier.
Works but is hard to push down so I push it down with my left hand, exposing the pin, and press the egg against the pin. It seems to have made the hard boiled eggs peel much easier!

Super easy to use and works great.
Love the stainless steel because I do not like plastic. It pierces the egg well enough. Just remember to Pierce the fat part of the egg not the skinnier part. The fat part is where the air pocket is. If you pierce the top skinny part then egg is going to squeeze out when it is cooking. This product is way easier to use than the one I had before where i had to hold the egg and hold the piercer.

No Difference
First attempt on pushing the egg down, it shattered. Raw egg everywhere. So then I held down the rim and quickly tapped each egg down to pierce it. Absolutely no difference for peeling easy. No eggs cracked while cooking but peeling was still a pain. Didn’t work. Don’t but. I had better luck with adding baking soda to the water the using this device.

not a big enough Hole punched
Its not a high quality item so you be the judge, does it work yes but you have to punch it more than 1 time because it doesnt make a big enough hole

Try it, it works!
This little gadget is worth its weight in gold. I was sceptical but decided it was inexpensive enough that it was worth a try. Every time I made deviled eggs for a family event, the shells stuck to the egg, and they were a mess. I have used this several times, and it is amazing what the little tiny hole does to keep the shells from sticking! My husband even commented that his hard-boiled eggs were easier to peel, and that is a five-star recommendation.
