Awesome game

I remember playing Wonderboy as a kid and I was super happy I could revisit my love for this game on a Nintendo Switch. Package was sealed and no damage to the game. Worked perfectly.

Very nostalgic game if you were a kid in the 80s.

Was a favorite of mine back in the day, unfortunately the Switch version of the Wonder Boy Collection is not compatible with the Switch controllers. You cannot progress in the game, I only got as far as getting the Ocarina in Monster Land, after that could go no further because the keys it wants you to play will not work on the Switch controllers. It also has some glitches where it will freeze in the menu selection to choose weapons, etc. and then the curser just jumps all over the screen until I have to reboot the game. Many issues should have been fixed before ININ released it. There are also no instructions to be found anywhere for use on Switch.

The retail version of the Wonderboy Collection only includes "Wonderboy" (arcade version), "Wonderboy Monsterland", "Wonderboy in Monsterworld" and "Wonderboy IV". it's missing "Wonderboy III: Dragon's Trap" (the most popular game in the series) and "Wonderboy in Monster Lair". the european version which had a very limited release by "Strictly Limited Games" includes all the games (including the missing ones) plus other ports of these games as well. the Strictly Limited Games version is the complete package to get, however it's a bit on the expensive side due to being out of stock and gone up in price in the second hand market.
