I absolutely love this camera! I'm dedicated to using Microseven because they have the best customer service of any technology company I've ever experienced. I've read some other reviews and people complain about their service and I just don't understand how this is even possible! Clearly these complainers have never bothered to reach out to Microseven! Not only do they have an email for support AND a phone number on their website, they have a button for QUICK SUPPORT, which I've been using for the past 10 years - anytime anything comes up - I hit the QUICK SUPPORT button and email them the Team Viewer password and they will login to my computer and fix any issue for me! The only issues I've ever encountered are with the fact that I have a 10 year old camera on the same network as my brand new cameras and the old camera needs to be configured on my router for dyndns. When my router dies, or comcast decides to change our routers, the new router needed to be reconfigured again for the 10 year old camera to stream remotely, but Microseven configured it for me for free, no questions asked! I know several other friends that purchase their cameras that also use this service so there isn't any way anyone can legitimately say they don't have excellent customer service if they actually reached out to them! With regard to this brand new camera, the 1080 Sony CMOS 3MP Wide Angle, it is by far the best camera I've ever used. It is so incredibly easily to set up! You don't even need any software on a computer if you don't want! I sent one to my sister so I can watch her view of the beach while I'm sitting at home in the snow storm :( She simply plugged it in- downloaded the app from Apple to her phone make sure you are signed into the wireless network that the camera is on and hit "search." The app will find the camera and then you just name the camera and "Whala!" You're done! If you want to share your cam with others, you just give the cam id and pin and they install the app or you can stream on the Microseven Website and give them the link. If you have multiple cameras like me, you can install the software on your computer -- it is just as easy -- you hit "search", the new camera will pop up, you hit "add" then name it and "Whala!" This camera is awesome because the microphone and speaker are so cool, you can remotely talk to whomever is on the other end! The image is crystal clear and the sound is even better! The icing on the cake is that they have a Microseven app that works with Alexa so you can just say to Alexa, "Stream the font door cam" and she will pull up your camera. I couldn't love this company any more! I have a friend that pays a fortune for Xfinity home monitoring and every time I go to her house her cameras are out - they are never working and even on the odd chance that they are, there is no intercom or speaker on them, they don't record or stream, they don't have a phone app, no Alexa and there is a monthly monitoring fee! We get all of this for a fraction of the price!!!! It is almost too good to be true!

This was probably the worst decision I took. I being a tech freak, usually buy the latest gadgets from Amazon. This particular Camera I bought because I wanted a reliable Camera to work with my new Echo Show. And this particular Camera mentioned that its "Amazon verified" which was my sole purchasing decision to buy this Camera without further research,The Camera arrived on time. Pairing to wifi was pretty easy. However, there was no instructions provided how to link the Camera to Echo Show. I wrote to customer service, who was very prompt in getting back to me and sending additional instructions as to how the echo show pairing was done. This sorted the viewing on Echo Show.Following day, the Camera was not working! after tweaking the router and other set up, with no luck, i contacted customer service who promptly got back to do the fault finding. The exercise was in vain - The Wifi had gone dead. Customer service called it a Faulty Camera!!!!.I then re-set the Camera and connected it via a Ethernet Cable. It started working but with severe buffering. I then reported this to their customer service but there was no solution.I later realised that many customers are complaining about the lagging video quality.I just gave one star because Customer service was good although Hardware was inexcusable and horrid in my opinion.I wrote two emails to Amazon customer service complaining how their "Amazon Verified" narration made me buy this junk. Todate no response from Amazon customer service either.I have left for overseas on work and now find saddled with this camera.In future, I will not trust this brand or what is mentioned as "Amazon Verified"!

Pros: nice construction, small package,weatherproof,on board 128GB memory capability, night vision illumination rangeCons: app is limited capability,no multi-view, couldn’t setup with app, had to use web interface, changes to motion detection settings, etc. must be done locally on network, not remotely via app. Cannot remotely take snapshot or record.Biggest con: the optics and IR illumination cause a major internal reflection that fogs most of the central viewing area, rendering it fairly useless for nighttime use.

The camera works great if you hardwire it the Wi-Fi does not work it drops in and out and does not pick up signal well at all there is no customer service you have to leave a message and if you are able to get someone they don't sound professional or seem to know what they're talking about. I bought this camera because it was Alexa ready and I thought it would be easy it was not easy and I do not recommend it if you are looking for easy and convenient.

This is the fourth Microseven camera I've purchased. I keep coming back because Microseven cameras are durable, easy to set up, and have great features for the price. My existing 3 Microseven cameras are the older generation with only 720p resolution and no built-in microphone. I decided to upgrade the camera on my front porch to this one to get 1080p resolution and 2-way voice communication. The picture on this camera is a little sharper and clearer than my old one. And now I can talk to a visitor at my front door through the camera. Overall, a great upgrade for a very reasonable price. My only complaint is the new camera mount is slightly smaller so the 3 holes for the screws don't line up with the existing holes I drilled in the wall for my old camera. I had to drill new holes to mount the new camera.
