Since I work on multiple computers, I needed this to login. At first, I didn't know what I was doing. After a few tries, I figured out that it WIILL NOT WORK with usb2.0. I too was skeptical of downloading the software, but I did and had to reinstall it twice before windows 11 recognized it. Then finished setup and it works fine.

Contrary to many other reviews, this device works great! Please download the driver follow the installation instructions. It installs just like many other Windows drivers. I use it all the time on my Win 11 Pro 24H2 computer. I recommend it.

It was a little out side my comfort zone to go to the site to download the driver ...when I entered the address and the site started downloading files automatically I temporarily freeked out! ...not cool ...however between the set up we have at work with our Admin and the safety firewalls we have in place I never got to try this to know if it even works ...I tried using it at home with my hacked version of Windows 7 and that was also a no go ...which i honestly expected

Had and worked for 2 years. Download the driver and your good to go.

Title says it all. When plugged in, it just says no finger print scanner was found. I have Windows 11.
