My wife likes a bit of support from her pillow and mostly uses memory foam or firm down types. This orthopaedic pillow by MONHOUSE is a bit different and as well as using memory foam there are 50 small pocket springs built in which make sleeping on this pillow a different type of experience. My wife has been using this pillow for a couple of weeks and is finding it quite comfortable but it does take a bit of getting used to after using a more solid pillow. This pillow is soft but on the firm side – which will suit some sleepers more than others – and it does offer decent support once it has moulded to your shape. MONHOUSE is a UK based brand, although the pillow is made in China, and the materials used and the design are good quality. This is a standard size pillow that is comfortable, breathable and resistant to dust mites – it is designed primarily for head, neck and shoulder pain suffers but is actually suitable for anyone to use. Currently around twenty-five pounds if purchased individually this pillow is better value as a twin pack for around forty pounds from Amazon – at the twin pack price the pillows are good value for the quality and features and deserve five stars – if bought singly then that drops to four stars for value.

Not as good as I thought bit too high! Bit disappointed

A very comfortable pillow. However the product page and order was for a pair of pillows but only a single pillow was in the box.

The media could not be loaded. The pillow is comfortable but not what I expected from an orthopaedic pillow.I tend to sleep on my side and I found this pillow gave little support to the neck as it’s too soft. When trying it out lying on my back, it is very comfortable and far better suited to those who fall asleep in that position.

So it came tightly rolled, which takes a few moments for it to fluff up. Not sure if the pocket springs are really doing anything in particular for me - its very airy initially, then the bounce kicks in about half way.Comfortable, but not any better than a regular pillow. I wouldnt really purchase this at the current price point, but around half that price this would be more competitive.

The pillow comes in a box, and it is rolled and vacuumed sealed.First stet is to carefully cut the plastic wrap, and let the packaging to inflate on its own. Than to remove the pillow and give it a shake/ tap.After leaving the pillow for a moment it is ready to be used.I decided on having an additional cover for it for hygienic reasons. It also makes the pillow a little softer. I had a spare cover from my memory foam pillow and the size fits this pillow well so for the time being I will be using it.The size will fit most of the standard pillowcases if you would like to by some spare, or use the one you already have.I didn't know what to expect as I used either down, synthetic or memory foam pillows in the past.I have to say that it is a very comfortable and nicely sprung pillow. It is a bit "bouncy", and it might take a few days to get used to it. But after a few weeks of sleeping on it, I think I prefer it over the memory foam pillow. There are some days I would prefer a bit softer pillow but in general, I am very please with this product.For £24.99 it is in the same price range as my old pillows, and I believe it represents good value for the money.The outer packaging is of good quality, and it might be a good idea for a gift for someone.

I actually cannot praise this pillow enough! In the past, I have used the ones that are memory foam and are specifically for neck pain, but I have never gotten along with these. I wanted to try this pillow as it was different from the others as is a pocket sprung and seemed as though it would be more comfortable and more like an average pillow.When it arrived, it was vacuum packed but didn't take long to plump up to its original size. I was excited but also anxious as to how it would make my neck feel. I have literally suffered neck pain for many years and it is almost always worse upon waking.After using this pillow for over a week, I can honestly say I am absolutely over the moon!! In all the days I have been using it, I have woken with probably 90% less pain than on standard days. I was genuinely super impressed and so happy. At first, I thought it may have just been a coincidence, but after continuous use, I can't deny it must be the pillow. I have done nothing but praise the pillow to my husband ever since lol.In my opinion, it is ideal for sleeping on your side, or back, and would highly recommend for anyone who suffers from any sort of neck pain. Buy it!!!!

There is a little confusion as the offer was for 2 pillows, but the order defaulted to 1 pillow. In which case for one pillow, it was very expensive, purchasing a box of two would be a good saving.For reference this is the MK_03 as MONHOUSE do some very similar pillows.The pillow does not come with a pillowcase, so you need to fit one to keep it clean. It is made from 100% cotton with side made from Polyester. The cotton feels very soft but if you press down on the pillow hard enough you can feel a few hard lumps inside, I’m not sure what this is though. However, I doubt in normal use you would put that much pressure on the pillow. The box does state that it is memory foam however the advert does not mention this.It feels comfortable and very warm, you can feel almost instant heat on the back of your neck like it was made of thermal material. It has breathable vent material all the way around.Overall, very nice but expensive as a single pillow.
