Indian Ink 490ml

This is a top notch ink for fine art at a reasonable price. Talens makes a number of well known fine art products, including Amsterdam acrylic inks. This India ink is superb on paper. It waters down well, has a nice sheen and excellent pigment grind. On film and hard surfaces (epoxy, ACM panel) it adheres well but gets glossy. More expensive but more refined than Speedball India, more viscous and darker than Higgins India, nearly as black as Higgins Black Magic (but far cheaper per oz/ml). It's right up there with the best inks from Koh-i-noor, Sennelier, etc.

I've been looking for ink that is both waterproof AND copic-proof and I finally found it! I've tried many different brands and have done many tests and this ink works best with my method of drawing. With this ink, you can do inkwashes, watercolor, copics all over the inked lines without having to worry about smudging. It's GREAT! The bottle on the other hand is very poorly designed. The lip or spout doesn't really work. Ink tends to drip on the side of the bottle when you pour it. Also I've had times where a bubble would form in the hole basically preventing it from pouring and then the bubble pops splattering ink on you. I recommend using another bottle or container if you're going to buy this ink.

This is great ink. Highly pigmented so it's on par with more expensive inks on the market. It is totally waterproof when dry, I had no bleeding after attacking it with copic markers. 30ml bottle is a little smaller than I usually get but a single dip goes an impressively long way. Those that use fountain pens, I can confirm that it works well in the Lamy Scala with a 0.7 nib without clogging up. Smaller nibs may be different. Highly recommended.

Pour moi, une des meilleures encres sur le marché. Pour que vos encrage tiennent sur la durée malgré les uv du soleil. L'encre ne change pas de couleur. Et ça c'est top. Séchage assez rapide tant qu'on en met pas une tonne.

Inchiostro un po’ troppo liquido per l’utiiizzo di stampe monotipo su tavoletta, scivola troppo. Non è colpa del prodotto che in se è buono.
