Covered Gray and Added Subtle Life and Color!
I am a brunette and this henna hair dye gave my hair a beautiful reddish tint while completely covering my gray. The color turned out gorgeous, and I only needed to leave it on for about an hour and a half. It was also very easy to rinse out compared to what I expected. One of the unexpected benefits was the texture it gave my hair. I have very fine, thin hair and it made my hair feel a bit thicker and easier to style because it lightly coats the strands. I also appreciate how little product is needed, making it a very affordable option for maintaining color and covering roots. I plan to keep using it regularly for touch-ups as needed. Overall, it’s a great natural way to add subtle color, improve texture, and cover gray effectively without harsh chemicals.

Really good!!!
First, I would like to say that I am very happy with the overall results. The color turned out beautifully, and the product was easy to apply. It is truly a great hair dye. However, I noticed that within just a few minutes of mixing the powder, my fingers became very red from staining. The color transferred quickly to my skin. This is the one i am looking for my gray hair.. Thank you for creating such an effective product...

healthy and covers grays better
Love love Henna. This is the third brand I’ve tried and although I really haven’t had any complaints about any of them I have to say there are definitely some extra great things about this one. Huge bag for great price and all the extra ingredients good for your hair. Contains jaramansi to prevent graying hair - score! And lots of other great things in it. It was ground together well (powdery) and Smelled kind of like tea. Pleasant I would say. I mixed mine with some avacado oil, coconut oil, and calamansi (Filipino lime). That was just my substitute for lemon because we had it in the house and I figured why not. The great thing about Henna is you can add what you want. So for people who have never used henna- it’s not like buying a box of chemical hair dye. It takes more time and care but I feel it covers grays longer and makes my hair more healthy so it’s worth it to me. I make my mix with warm water and whatever else I want, apply immediately, and throw on a plastic hair net from the dollar store and leave on as long as I can. I also use plastic gloves from the dollar store. (This bag comes as is with no gloves). The longer the better because henna is good for your hair. I sleep in mine (with hair net on and towel on my pillow) and shower when I wake. So at least 7 hours on my head. Another option is letting the mix sit in the bowl for 2-3 hours and then leave in your hair 3-4 hours per the bag instructions. Now when You wash this stuff out don’t get in a big rush or you will pull some hair out. It’s kind of like working out mud. Rinse with warm water. Squeeze and work hands gently DO NOT try to get all the tangles out right away. Once you feel you’ve rinsed it best you can, Then I highly recommend using a conditioning hair mask. The kind you put on in the shower for 2-5 minutes before rinsing out. Then I feel like when you rinse the second time your hair will be more manageable. I also add a leave in conditioner when I get out of the shower and that’s when I begin to work out my tangles. I find hair right after henna is a little more stiff and dry feeling but that goes away more and more each time you shower. If it’s still too strange and you just can’t stand it go ahead and shampoo. It won’t completely remove it but it might speed up the process of your hair feeling more normal. The more you stay away from shampoo though the longer the henna will last so if you can stand to just stick with conditioner try it. I’d say my hair feels normal after second or third shower. I get lots of compliments with henna. My hair feels healthy and shiny. I tried to switch back to box dye for convenience but grays showed more rapidly and color faded fast, it was irritating. So now I’m back to henna. Luckily I didn’t have any weird colors happening from switching back and forth. I’m naturally brunette hair with Gray roots - the gray hairs turn out lighter than the rest of my hair and more copper colored while the rest is more a perfect red/brown that looks even more red in the sun

If you want your hair to dry up, get tangled in fist fulls, break off by just touching it
Ok, I waited a few weeks to write a review. Was too traumatized to write one, and this is going to be long. I'm Indian, so I should've known better than to listen to YouTube tutorials on natural hair and BAQ henna. First of all if you want real henna go directly to a BAQ website like Henna Sooq or something to buy it. Pay extra but save your hair. Indian companies are not required to go by any set standards when selling their products so just be advised, if you want good henna it's better to buy something thats Americanized Pure Henna like Light Mountain (and you can get it off Amazon). Just don't buy Indian Henna. You're taking your life into your own hands. Also, I have never looked at any Indian Aunty that uses Henna & gone "oh wow, I want to have nice thinning dry brittle orange hair like her". And they all use Indian Henna from the dollar store, which is what this stuff is. I could kick myself for not thinking things through before ordering it. Anyway, after many trials and tribulations, and lots of hot oil treatments with Extra Virgin Olive oil and Moisturizing Conditioners (without protein and silicone) and staying away from too much shampooing, my hair is on the road to recovery. I've thrown out all the other packets of henna, thankfully I only used not even 1/2 of the first packet, and it STILL ruined my HEALTHY BOUNCY hair. There are so many positive reviews under this product, so I'm not sure what's going on and why my hair in particular reacted this way. BAQ henna is NOT supposed to make your hair fall off it's head from the root. You can condition it all you want but the only thing to do really is oil it and not use henna on your entire head for a couple of months till it breathes again. I will try to only do my roots with Light Mountain for a while. Also, when it goes back to normal, I've read that doing full henna should only be done once or twice a year, otherwise only the roots. HENNA TRULY DRIES OUT YOUR HAIR. Deep condition YALL. I hope this helps someone. If you want to risk it go ahead and buy this, but I'm telling yall this is not real henna. It is trash. Do a strand test. GOOD LUCK.
