I did a winter camping trip and decided to use my Kia Sportage for my shelter. First, the tent went up fairly easy. The instructions were helpful, and once I got the poles in, everything else was smooth. The tent is water resistant, but I had to use spray on sealant on the seams. I still got a little leakage. I also used a tarp to add for water proofing. It is a great SUV tent. I used the tent for sleeping and lounging, and the car for gear.

With a little practice this has been easy for me to set up by myself.

The concept is awesome. However, I have used this twice. Each time something ripped and broke. It is cumbersome and takes too long to set up. Now it is packed away in storage, collecting dust. I am only hanging on to it if I need to scavenge parts or material from it (I'm a tinkerer).I do not recommend this product. Save up and purchase a better quality item.

Have a 2022 Subaru Outback. Bought this for a camping trip and found out even though I can turn off the dome light, the dashboard hatch open light stays on and drained my battery the first night. Can't use this now with the hatch open. No way to disengage the light with a motor operated hatch.

This product was to be universal. After struggling with it to get it over my truck cap and below the tailgate, it took 3 people to do it. When we went to attach the straps and tighten it up, a couple connectors ripped from the tent. I had to use a ratchet strap to keep it in place. When it rained, 1 corner had water in the tent and it also dripped from the top where the sleeve goes over the cap.I would NOT suggest this to those looking to use it in a full size truck. I probably wouldn't even use this on a SUV. I will be returning for a refund!

The media could not be loaded.  I don't have a hatchback but my grand daughter is getting 1. She is going in the military and we thought this would be a great way to travel. They love camping and being able to have more space when camping is great and very easy to just pull in set up and then take down in the morning. It goes up very fast and easily. It comes with everything needed. It has easy to follow directions. It is a great size with plenty of room. It has a rain tarp over it. It has plenty of windows with screens. It all comes in a storage bag. Even though it was windy when we put it up, the 2 of us had no problems.

Bought it as a gift for my brother. He said it’s only takes a few minutes to build. He gonna use it for the summer camp!
