I bought this as a replacement cable for our ancient scoreboard system in the church gym which uses an XLR cable between the control box and scoreboard. It worked perfectly the moment we plugged it in and is the perfect length in case we need to move it without having a ton of excess cable.The key features I was looking for were braided and some kind of strain relief/reinforcement on the ends. This fit the bill perfectly. So far, the springs on the end seem to be doing exactly what I was hoping for. Time will tell how well it holds up, but I'm optimistic.Overall good value and product.

£18 for a pair of 8m XLRs with decent construction seems very fair. Bought these when rearranging my room, to give me more placement choices for my Genelec speakers. I could easily have settled on a 5m pair but oddly buying an 8m pair was quite a bit cheaper. No negatives to report, these seem to be great cables.
