Sad that Speck dropped the PixelSkin HD? Look no further.
UPDATE: Now that I actually have the iPhone 6 in hand and the case is installed, I'm going to edit parts of the review and indicate a change with a big UPDATED tag. Original review as follows:I'm hesitant to review this before the iPhone 6 line actually drops, but I feel compelled to do so anyway, just to give some initial impressions for somebody thinking about getting this in preparation for the phone. The thing that shocked me the most about this case was the level of quality. Being a Speck PixelSkin HD user for years, I prefer an all-TPU build in all black. I just can't do hardshell cases for whatever reason, making awesome ones like the Otterbox Commuter and Symmetry out of the question. I was super disappointed when Speck announced its PSHD wouldn't be available (at least for now). Scanning around the interwebs, I found Spigen. I had never used Spigen before, and had only loosely heard of their glass screen protectors. Being one of the very few case makers ready to go at launch, I dove into their product line and found the capsule case.Ordered it from amazon prime and got it literally the next day, even though I used the free two-day shipping. It's very close to the classic PSHD design with its raised lip and textured back. Even the location of the Spigen logo matches where Speck used to throw theirs. The back is smooth and slick, yet grippy, and it looks very classy. The shallow holes actually, dare I say, look better than the PSHD in terms of pure design. Granted, it's not as high of quality as Speck, but Speck will go a long way to tell you not a lot of cases are. I imagine when demand comes around strong enough and Speck finally does release its PSHD, it will be a little thicker and slightly harder/heavier. This case is extremely light and feels pretty soft, honestly, but the internal design (as well as the air cushion tech for the corners) give you a nice sense of security should you happen to drop it. I would have liked the buttons to be a bit recessed around the edges like Speck and many other brands do, but that's just a personal preference.UPDATED: Now that I've used it with the phone, I can say that the non-recessed buttons work just fine. They retain all of the clickyness of the actual buttons and require little to no effort to press.A couple of last things about the design. One, the mold meets in the very center of the edges, creating a hard line that can be a bit sharp in places. This isn't that big of a deal, though, and I'm told this might be a problem exclusive to my particular case. Second, the official Apple case might seem like a better deal since it's guaranteed to be exact spec and the quality will be what you expect. However, for whatever reason, they decided to completely trim off the bottom, which drives me nuts. THIS case still has the port and speaker outlines intact, which is awesome considering how sleek and slim it is.UPDATED: The case fits like a glove. Snaps on satisfyingly and isn't loose at all. Easily comes off and looks fantastic. Where the bezel and the curved display meets adds a bit of depth that makes the screen pop even more. Fantastic.Previous users of the PSHD that can't lose the all-TPU feel will be happy with the Spigen capsule, even if it's just until Speck releases its own update to the model. Even then, you may not want to go back.Pros:+ The price. I got it for twelve dollars, and you really can't beat that for how high in quality it actually is.+ Light and Slim. You're not losing the sexiness of the iPhone 6 with this case.+ Great fit. Goes on effortlessly and stays on tight. It just looks so good.+ Great internal protection. A raised lip with various air pockets/shock routing make this a case you can trust your phone's life with.+ Great looks. The case is classy. There's no denying it. The dots on the back look great.+ Great feel. It is a very pleasurable case to the touch. Also very grippy. If you tend to get sweaty hands, no worries for you.+ The black is black. The lighting on the product photos tend to make the black model look kinda whispy. It's every bit as black as you want it to be.Cons:- A bit too thin. Used to the PSHD, I wanted a slightly thicker case for peace of mind. The internal routing makes up for this, but still.- Sharp molding line. I tend to find this style of molding kinda cheap, and you'll never find that sharp line on the PSHD. However, this might just be my personal case.- No recessed buttons. Another thing I personally associate with being cheap. That's just me, though. As mentioned before, though, they still work beautifully. As you can see, the pros far outweigh the cons, and at twelve bucks, you really can't go wrong. Thanks for reading and I hope I helped somebody out there with their decision!

Fantastic case for a very reasonable price.
After dropping my phone and completely destroying my screen, I decided it was time to step up my iPhone 6 protection efforts. Replacement phone in hand, I decided to order a new case and tempered glass screen protector. This is the case I chose, and these are my thoughts:+ The soft plastic used is great. It doesn't weigh much, it's flexible, and it feels great to touch. Seriously, this may be my favorite case to use ever. Despite being soft plastic, it doesn't have that nasty habit of catching on the fabric of your pockets when you take it out for a call. Really good quality.+ This may be the easiest to remove case that I've ever used. Because it's flexible, there's no struggle to remove your phone (to clean, put in another case, whatever).+ The protection offered is a step above similarly priced cases that have top and bottom cutouts. My previous case(s) had cutouts for the entire bottom of the phone, leaving no protection whatsoever for drops. Even a tiny drop could (and would) lead to chipped metal. Not so for this case, which completely covers the top, and leaves only small cutouts for the headphone and lightening jacks, as well as the speaker.+ The price is a great value! I purchased the grey model, thinking it would match the back of my phone. And while it does, it's also a bit boring. The thought of buying a replacement in a different color isn't really a worry thanks to the inexpensive price. And believe me, I will be coming back to this case.- The one negative I have to mention is the questionable quality regarding the durability of the top and bottom of the case. Because it's a flexible plastic, it's easy to pull on both, and there seems to be a bit of room for both top and bottom to expand over time. It's kind of like elastic underwear (stick with me!), over time the elastic is going to get stretched out. I fear the same is the case for the soft plastic used for this case. It would be awesome to use a single case over the two year life of a phone, but I'm not sure that's realistic here.

Very Satisfied, Excellent everyday case.
I purchased this case when I upgraded to the iPhone 6 and wanted something that showed off the phones look and kept the bulk minimal. I paired it with a Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector and I am quite satisfied after more than 3 months. I previously owned an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 4 before it, both with Otterbox Defenders on them. I went with less bulk this time because I no longer need the work related added protection. After looking at a couple of other clear cases, I settled on this one because it had full surround coverage, not a snap on frame that leaves the top and bottom exposed. It is made of silicone and is flexible. The edges around the screen have an ever so slight rise so the glass doesn't make contact when placed face down (The invisible shield helps). The Soft material means shock absorption. The Volume buttons & Sleep/Wake/Power button are covered by a continuous shell with a rise over the button and hollowing of the underside over the buttons for flexibility. The Buttons Press with no additional effort. My only complaint was the case I received has a slightly malformed opening around the headphone jack where the edge along the screen is flexed or indented toward the jack. I don't have any problem inserting a headphone though because the material is flexible. This is the main reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, Plus, I would reserve 5 stars for a fortress style case. The cost is very low and if you're thinking about it, go ahead and get one.

Great clear, simplistic case that is slim and fits ...
Great clear, simplistic case that is slim and fits easily into your pocket. The only problem I have with it is that it yellows and oxidizes really fast.Other than that, it has helped protect my phone from multiple drops already. Great quality and durability!

A good no-frills case.
This is for the black liquid armor case with the "holes" in the back.It is a soft case (not hard-shell).Great case. Fits the iPhone perfectly snug. It is quite thin without losing protection. The thin lip around the screen and camera will prevent them from touching a surface directly and prevent scratches. All buttons are easily accessible/"pressable". I also managed to fit the magnetic sticker for a car mount inside the case without affecting it's fit. The price is quite good for the quality. The holes do not detract at all from the look.

Premium, and high quality protection for your iPhone 6 and 6S. An in-depth review.
Purchase Rationale:-----------------------------I already have an MTT Capsule Case for my iphone 6S and it is an amazing transparent case, but it is primarily designed to show off the beauty of the device and a more "cosmetic" product rather than seriously targeted at protection. So I wanted a case that was visually appealing with high quality mateials but tough at the same time. Another pre-requisite was that the case shouldn't be bulky as that sort of kills the whole idea of buying a 7mm thin device! So all rugged and hybrid cases were out. The first candidate material was Polycarbonate, which is pretty resistant to tarnishing and protects the back of the phone well and is a good choice for a phone case. The only problem is that it is not very flexible and mostly comes as a hard case only which is open at the top and the bottom and this kind of case doesn't provide much drop protection and is again mostly for cosmetic use and to protect the back and camera lens from scratches, that's all. My next choice of material was TPU because it is soft, flexible and provides a good grip, also it is a good shock absorber and can be crafted out to give a 360 degree fit in a thin sub-millimeter form factor. With this information, I decided to go for a capsule case and after going through a lot of product listings, narrowed it down to a Spigen.Value for Money:------------------------If you're looking for an iPhone 6/6S case, chances are that you put quality above everything else and aren’t looking for a cheap fix. If you are (sometimes we all do - we’re Indian after all!) then please look at my other reviews of progressively cheaper but good quality cases as I have an assortment of these in all price brackets.Coming back to the product in question, Spigen is one of the best known case companies in the world, so despite the steep price of around a thousand bucks, I decided to invest in it (It's like buying a helmet - you can set your price ceiling depending on how much you value the head it is going to protect!) For a 72000 rupee iPhone 6S, Rs 999 didn't seem all that ridiculous (I guess I had already done the ridiculous thing by spending that amount on a phone!) So I ordered it under the Amazon fulfilled listing with free delivery.Packaging and Shipping:-------------------------------------The case comes packaged in a heat shrunk plastic blister pack which is easy to open though not very sturdy - but since the underlying product is flexible, I guess thats OK. There is a paper insert with product details and a Spigen Authenticity Certificate that has a code printed on it which you can check online to confirm that it is an original Spigen product. Overall packaging is not very impressive and I have seen better packaging in cheaper MTT products. Moving on, the case was shipped out on same day as ordered and received before promised delivery date.Product quality:-----------------------The case is built from high quality TPU (thermoplastic Polyurethane) which is precision molded with tight tolerances and cutouts. It is rich matte black in colour and looks very good on the Space Gray iPhone that I have - it may not look so good on other color models with a white front but there are people who like that combo also (Your mileage may vary). The back of the case has a unique dimpled pattern which gives it a classy look as well as increased grip and slip protection. The case feels soft and premium in the hand and scream “quality” when seen from any angle. The camera cutout on the back includes both the camera and the flash with a good clearance margin and I have not seen and obstruction in field of view or any flash related issues due to the case so far. The case is thick enough that the camera bump gets recessed inside it, so that when you rest it on the table, the camera lens stays off the surface, thereby protecting it from scratches and giving reasonable drop protection to the lens. The TPU goes all around like a glove over the phone and gives 360 degree protection from bumps and falls. The cutouts for all ports are precisely done and the buttons are slightly raised giving a good tactile feedback. They are not too hard to press and overall quite comfortable. The lightning port area has a wide cutout at the bottom to allow for wider 3rd party charging cables (I am using Tukzer as well as Anker cables without any problem)Audio port cutout is also generous and I’m able to use angled connectors of the Bose iE2 in-ear headphones as well as the bigger AudioTechnica ATH M50x monitor headphone connector without any obstruction.Day to day usage:----------------------------I must say this is a very nice and premium feeling TPU capsule case for the iPhone 6S. The soft rubberized feel is both comfortable as well as reassuring to hold with no danger of the phone slipping or sliding out of your hands. It also looks very good, with a dotted back partially substituting the premium design of the device which gets hidden by the opaque case. While the case was originally designed for the iPhone 6, it fits the 6S perfectly as there are very minimal differences in dimensions between the two and the elasticity of the product easily compensates for that. The phone doesn’t feel bulky when in the case and the weight added is minimal - though nothing can replicate the feel of the naked iPhone. The matte black colour looks very good on the Space Gray model and is unlikely to get dirty and is very resistant to stains, scratches as well as oily or sweaty hands. The front edges of the case are designed to be slightly elevated to provide protection to the screen when the phone is placed face down - the raised lip is supposed to keep the screen off the underlying surface. However, in day to day use, I have found that the design tolerances are so tight that if you use a tempered glass screen protector, then this lip is rendered ineffective and the tempered glass makes contact with underlying surface. In summary, this cover provides protection to the back and the borders and edges of the phone only (as advertised). When you buy from a company like Spigen, you know that their products and materials will be well researched and constructed. I have not noticed any degradation on cellular signal unlike what happens with a lot of cheap cases with trace heavy metals in them. Calls are distortion free and 3G connectivity is never an issue with the case on. For all practical purposes, this case does not make any difference in the functioning of the iPhone antenna, which is a very desirable characteristic in a full metal body phone.Cons:--------Besides the steep price, I see absolutely no reason to not recommend this case..Protection:----------------I have dropped my phone in the case a couple of times - from waist height mainly and at the most unpredictable times - once in the car (fell out from the phone mount and came under the brake pedal), once from bed to a marble floor when i woke up with the phone on my chest (Damn you Apple Music) and once when my 15 month old daughter decided to bring me my phone but couldn’t quite place it on the table and dropped it on a tiled floor. Upon inspection, the tempered glass screen protector that I had was scuffed and scratched, protecting the screen, but there were no visible damage/scratches/bend on either the case of the phone inside it. So for me, this case has already proven it worth the money I spent on purchasing it many times over!Final Verdict:--------------------If you want a classy and sturdy flexible case (at a reasonable price) for your iPhone 6 or 6S, this is a very good choice. It scores positive in all criteria for a good case except that it is opaque and will hide your product’s beautiful color at the cost of providing reliable protection. Overall a very good product. Highly Recommended. Please Note:-------------------I have purchased this case like everyone else on Amazon and I am not affiliated with Spigen in any way. This review is based upon my personal experience and opinions alone and is meant only to help fellow shoppers get a real life feel of the product - a practical review which I did not have when I was looking for a case myself.I hope this review helped you in making your purchase decision. Thank you for reading.

Great looking case which protects your phone in one, key way
I love this case - allow me to explain. My philosophy is that most cases (including this one) utterly fail to address the protection of the most fragile and at-risk part of a smartphone: its screen. Only those with foldover covers, or completely immersive, slide-in cases do much about that. I appreciate that bulky bumpers can sometimes absorb edge-on impact which could crack the screen through lateral shock - but only the chunkiest stand to make any real difference. And there's the rub - as phones get more beautifully slim, we are required to put chunky, width-adding cases on them which still do not protect from a face down drop onto a hard and/or uneven surface.Of course, the only real protection is: DON'T DROP YOUR PHONE.Which is where this case comes in. It adds very little bulk to the iPhone 6 and mimics the phone's curved edges very well. This is not my first case for the '6, but its the first one that has allowed me to appreciate the improvements in design that Apple have made on the phone's chassis and casing. The one significant way in which this case helps protect your phone is in its smooth but very grippy surface (there's some stippling on the back, which looks nice but I don't believe is adding much to the already-good levels of grip). I felt far less likely to drop my phone with this case than with previous alternatives. The surface also does not pick up fingerprints or lint and looks very very smart. Combine with a packet of cheap screen protectors (change every couple of months) to protect the screen from light scratches in your pocket etc. and you're sorted.Very highly recommended.

Fairly good case, just not the best
The product arrived very fast but pretty much everything does with Amazon Prime. It was well packaged and no signs of damage picked up along the way.I wanted a case that would show off the phone as much as possible so I picked this one. It is certainly minimal and the phone still looks good when the case is fitted. It is made from a soft jelly type material and I think it makes the phone feel secure and grippy while in your hand. The design as I said is minimal and thats the reason why I'm only giving three stars, the back and sides seem well protected if the phone was to be dropped however there is no protection for the screen as the case does not protrude past the screen edge. I think this case will lead to the screen being scratched over time. The last time I purchased a Spigen case it came with a screen protector and this product could definitely be doing with the inclusion of one. The cut outs for charging and head phone jack are good too. The only niggle with the charging cut out is that it is very snug, not a major problem as you certainly don't need to remove the cover to charge. Can't really expect much more because this is about the cheapest iPhone 6 cover you can get and all things considered I would say it's very good value for money.
