Do not waste your time with these
The hardware they send is undersized and soft. Most screws stripped out upon installation. Also, the design of the hasp is flawed. The slot is wide enough to clear the ring when the hasp is opened and closed. It does not matter where you install the ring, the slot is not wide enough. You will have to close the door at the same time you close the latch.

slot is too small for angled swing of hasp
Who designs a hasp where the slot is too small for its own intended loop? I mean this isn't rocket science, people! I had to spend over an hour using a high speed rotary tool to cut out at least 3/4" longer slot space. This is to accommodate the "swing" of the slot portion over the separate loop piece. Without doing this you CANNOT overlap the loop. This is simple MATH and planning that was NOT done. More and more, products are being designed just plain STUPID.

more shoddy chinese products - be prepared to make the slot wider with tools
poorly designed, the slit is too narrow for the clasp to go through so I needed to spend an hour making it wider with whatever tools I could find drilling through the steel which was very fun
