Needed some good quality black cotton fabric - and wasn't disappointed.This fabric is lovely quality, a nice deep, dark black, and a very decent price!I didn't get a chance to sew it up before Christmas, so can't comment of sewing quality, or how it performs when washed - but, judging by the overall look and feel of this material, I think it is likely to be most satisfactory...!!

This fabric has body, is so easy to work with both cutting and sewing. The colour is dense. Taking the fabric from its bag, I aligned the selvedges and sewed a regular hem all along. I then double turned the top, raw edge and inserted elastic to suit my size. Then I established that I needed a finished length of 25". I cut to size then made a small hem which I overlooked.Finally a single row of 2" wide cotton black lace was added and Voila! In the time it took my husband to do a little shopping I had made myself a half-slip for less than half the price of those thar are in the shops!Recommend highly.

fabric has no stretch at all. I should have expected that as it's cotton but I'm new and took me a bit by surprise.

The material arrived on time and was well packed. It appears to be good quality but have not washed or used it yet.

Really pleased with the quality. I have bought 4 more times since my first purchase.I do a fair bit of textile work and wasn't expecting too much as I prefer to visit a store to see the fabric. It's not heavy weight but makes for good banners. Is also quite soft, which was surprising.I was very happy with the quality of each purchase. No imperfections, correct sizes and good accurate colours. These photos show; White, Red, Royal Blue and Purple.Would definitely recommend.
