This stuff really works and has a surprisingly nice scent.Almost a little too nice so be careful because it is not good to breathe the fallout.It is incredibly effective though

Very strong smell but works pretty good. Let it stay for a bit in the carpet before vacuuming. Keep kids and pets and anyone else away until you vacuum though.

Used on outdoor carpet (under patio cover) and worked well.

OK, I can't review the efficacy because that would take months to confirm and I am using a three-prong attack anyway to make triple damn sure I kill these buggers so I won't be sure which, if any of the prongs, was successful. Why write a review then? I think I have some helpful information.First, it says covers 200 to 400 square feet per canister. Plan on the 200 end of the scale. I didn't think I laid it down particularly heavy and I went through it pretty quick.I gave it only 3 stars not because of it's efficacy, which as I said I can't be sure of, but for two reasons: One - it is so fine, it gets everywhere. Even if you close off a room, the simple act of opening the door once and even a slight crack around the door will spread a fine powder, the smell, and presumably the poison, to the rest of the house (and yes I turned the AC off). Well that would be fine since you are trying to kill the buggers right? But it says all over the canister how poisonous it is, don't let it touch your skin, breath it in, get on your clothes, etc. It also says in the directions, "Do not apply this in a way that will contact humans or pets, either directly or through drift." And "Do not enter treated areas until dust has settled." And yet it says to, "shake powder" [onto rugs] and "brush...with broom to force powder deep into carpet." When I did this I was enveloped in a worrisome cloud of dust. I even bought a nice organic canister, well-sealed face respirator just for this task, and I could still smell and taste the stuff as I did it. I'm sure it was all over my skin, my eyes, my clothes, in my lungs and digestive tract... How are you supposed to follow the directions and yet not enter the area or have it contact you? Wear a spacesuit?If they are telling you all the scary stuff to just cover their hineys with the lawyers, that's a foul. If it really is so bad, then you can't possibly apply this stuff without major exposure, unless you have a spacesuit. I don't know what the answer is, except maybe Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth instead (that's my third prong).

Our rescue cat had fleas and then had kittens. We had kept her and the babies contained in a room and it was infested. I emptied the entire room out to nothing but the carpet and tried using a fogger (a whole can for the one 11x11 room), the room was then vacuumed AND I rented a carpet shampooer and went over the floor 6-7 times over the course of a week with both vacuum and shampooer. Fleas were still out of control (not sure where how they survived). Set off a SECOND fogger. Still didn't take care of it.I bought this powder as a last ditch effort before lighting house on fire (LOL...but seriously the fleas were so bad). I sprinkled powder, used broom per directions to "work into carpet," waited 24 hours and vacuumed. I have not seen a flea since. I would 100% recommend this powder!!!! Don't waste money on foggers. The powder gets "airborne" when you sweep over it." I will always purchase this in future and will tell everyone else to as well! Thank you ADAMS!!!

The can says to shake well and when we did the top of the container shot off and the powder went everywhere causing us to loose most of the product. It happened in the kitchen, got all over the chairs and floor. Luckily I had a mask in my purse for my granddaughter when she carefully vacuumed it up and mopped.

I Garden, deer, squirrels, groundhogs etc, roam through my yard, I am to Blame for tracking fleas in my home! I have Two INDOOR Cats, that have Never been Outside! Suddenly there are FLEAS ! I tried EVERYTHING! After struggling to get rid of this Horrible problem watching my poor cats Scratching 😿😿 I USED EVERY PRODUCT ON THE MARKET! I STUDIED EVERY THING ABOUT FLEAS! That they lay their eggs on the Fur, and anywhere else they want! I had Confined my cats to One Area! Then I realized I had Transfered them to my carpet OMGI GOOGLED What is the BEST FLEA KILLER!! ADAMS got FIVE STARS I immediately got the ADAMS CARPET POWDER AND THE CAT SHAMPOO!! Sprinkled it Everywhere! Did it TWICE ! Watched and wait 48 hours! Of I checked there were maybe a couple of Stragglers! Fourth day no sign of fleas! Had I not found ADAMS it could have turned into a full blown Epidemic 😾😾I am Reporting this Two weeks Later I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE A PRODUCT THAT WORKS !!!Thank You😻😻
