Great hardware, software needs a little work
The hardware seems well-done, the software isn't currently up to the same standard, sadly. When the software is installed, it comes up with the Japanese language selected by default. There are instructions on the website about how to change it to English, but it neither offers the option to select a language during install, or automatically select from the operating system setting. The software isn't very intuitive. They have two 'modes', but it's not clear why the distinction exists. One is called 'Joystick Mode', and from the UI, the hardware can report a proportional X/Y position, but there does not seem to be any support for emulating an actual joystick in the Windows OS. That's a huge missed opportunity. Using applications like reWASD or the Contour Designs Shuttle application as a benchmark, this app doesn't fully exploit the potential of the hardware.Hence dropping a star - at this price point, the expectation level is high, but the software doesn't reach it, even in comparison with products below a third of the cost. The potential is there, but short of writing replacement software myself, I don't know if or when the software will catch up with the hardware's potential. There doesn't appear to be any published documentation for the hardware protocol, so creating alternative software would require some reverse-engineering.

100% recommended!
I am writing my review again after a long time. When I bought the product I was never able to complete the installation on the first try. So I returned the product. They refunded my money immediately. And days later they sent me the product again and tried to guide me through the installation more calmly. I tried again. And to my surprise it worked perfectly. I don't know what was the difference between the first try and the second. I think maybe they made some update to the installation file. Or maybe I couldn't install it at first because of my lack of knowledge or I was doing something wrong in the process. Anyway it is working fine now and I am very happy with the product. Thanks to the technical support team for patiently guiding me through the installation. The product feels very good quality. The presentation and packaging are excellent. It feels nice in your hand. It is my best ally in my workflow. I recommend it to all editors, photographers and designers. As a full-time editor for over 20 years, I have tried all kinds of products like this. And I really liked this product and it does what it promises. The software to customize its function is very intuitive and easy to use. They also offer some presets on their website for most editing software. Once again 100% recommended. I have it working on Mac and Windows.

Not as expected
Not very friendly with applications like photoshop. Console to set it up is complicated and not user friendly.

Interesting and well-built, but not that useful for the high price.
It's what it is, and I suppose that's ok. To use it for editing with FCPX, is not a good experience as the keyboard short-cuts already do the job. To me, the cost does not justify what you can actually do with this.

Truly a nightmare to install
The good part is the hardware looks and feels pretty good. I suspect it will be fairly intuitive to use once I have the software running. The bad part is installation is a nightmare.I'm still working through the installation process for Windows 11 and thus far it's been an awful, time-consuming mess. It's not turnkey. It requires multiple steps and seemed to have failed in getting the USB driver installed correctly but there is no easy way to tell (other than Device Manager). Also, the software defaults to Chinese. You can get it into English but it isn't defaulting to the language of the operating system. So, I had to guess how to do that when navigating through the application. It doesn't appear that there are standard defaults for Photoshop or Premier preinstalled. I suspect that will bite me later.I'm truly a bit surprised that the existing reviews have not mentioned the awkward, gnarly install procedure. I'm hoping once I get past this I will feel better about the product, but so far it has not been a pleasant experience.
