Tough 1 EZ Out Safety Stirrup, 3-Inch

Love These stirrups. They look great on the saddle and I’m relaxed knowing they are safer for my daughter. They are heavier and more stable than the other plastic stirrups we had before.

I was excited to learn that these existed. I had an Engligh saddle version of safety stirrups. I have transitioned to a western saddle and like the idea that my stirrups could open should I get caught in a stirrup to avoid being dragged. These are heavy and worked great during my test. The instructions are easy and I was able to replace my stirrups with these in a couple minutes.

I like the quality and feel of these stirrups, but I took the description at its word and should not have. My saddle has thick heavy stirrup leathers, a full 3" wide and they do not fit. They absolutely will not bend to fit into that space and will not hang correctly. The stirrups will barely accommodate a 2.75" leather. I use them on another saddle with 2 3/8" leathers and they fit fine. Would be perfect on 2.5" leathers.

I have injured my knee badly and I liked the idea of a stirrup that would help if I got into trouble. They look like normal stirrups.

Bought these just as a potential safety product for the western saddle that I ride in. Was very pleasantly surprised at the weight of the stirrups. Simple installation and off to ride.Hopefully I won’t ever need the emergency release of the stirrups but I feel more comfortable knowing that feature is in place with these stirrups.

I really like these stirrups-- good size and weight, even ok on kids saddle (got the 3 inch size). we tested the breakaway function and it works really well-- easy to reset as well. They are also attractive. I feel much safer riding now and really like them on the kids' saddles as well. I will be getting another set to give my daughter as a gift for her saddle!

Probably the best stirrups that money can buy. I like having the safety of the break away stirrups. These things are heavy, solid and comfortable as they can be. The 3 inch are about the same size as most western saddle stirrups. I'm sure the smaller ones would be more for youth purposes. These ones fit me and my girlfriend and she's barely 5 ft tall.

It's hard to find a "western" style safety stirrup but these are great. They look good on the saddle and don't stand out as "safety". It gives me peace of mind to know that my kids will not get hung up in the saddle if they fall off. These stirrups are heavy and of good quality.

Amazing safety stirrup. They are built strong and look nice.

Make riding safer. Hope I never have to use them but make me feel more confident knowing that if I fall, my feet won’t get stuck in the stirrups.
