I have one grip that stays on my phone case well. I bought this one because it was thinner. It will not even hold weight of the case. I did not even try with phone. It pops off with next to no force. I guess I with stick with other grip and return this one.

Previously to buying this product I had had a few other things that functioned similarly. I had had a pop socket, regular bungee loop, and metal ring. My main complaints for each one of those is as follows:Pop Socket - Best for holding, most comfortable. Most bulky and in the way.Loop - Most slim and low profile, least effective for holding and wore out after about 6mo.Metal ring - very low profile and useful magnet, least comfortable in hand.This product kind of combines the best of all the worlds. It has a relatively low profile compared to a pop socket. It provides the kick stand function. It has a good wide area to grip with a lot of force on the bungee. And it can be removed so the phone fits better in car mounts. My only concern will be seeing how the bungee holds up over time, but even if it only makes it a year then I will happily replace it after the year.

I was super excited to get this because oh snap has their 3.0 products and I have the desktop stand and the car accessories for 2.0, And the 3.0 car accessories now only have a sticky car mount and I have nowhere to stick it to in my car. Besides I didn't want to have to put out money for just a new version of everything simply because my 2.0 band finally snapped...Important things to note here are I did not use the ring that came with this product. It did fit on my oh snap 2.0 ring already attached to my phone... However the magnet was not very strong and while holding it my phone disconnected from it. Fortunately I caught it so there was no damage or anything...Also, I want to go place it in my oh snap car charger, and it did not fit... Or actually I'm not sure if it fit but it just did not hold. It looks just like an oh snap, it's about the same dimensions and everything, but the magnets are just not strong enough.However... THE BIGGEST TAKEAWAY...I USED THE MIDDLE PIECE AND THE BAND FROM THIS PRODUCT AND REPLACED IT ON MY OH SNAP 2.0 AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!If it breaks, I'll probably buy another one to replace it and Frankenstein it with my oh snap 2.0... I'm not sure how it would work with the actual ring it came with, but I The magnets definitely aren't as strong as the actual oh snap magnets... With that said I'm super excited that I could replace the band using this product which is why I gave it four stars.

EDIT:MANUFACTURER! PLEASE update this with stronger magnets. I just got the new official Ohsnap grip in the mail and it is truly awful! Your clone product is our only hope it just needs the stronger magnets and it will be perfect!---I wanted to compare this to the OhSnap grip because the form factor is almost identical and OhSnap recently decided to just make glorified Popsockets instead of the product their fans actually want. Anyway, this would be a nearly 1:1 perfect replacement if the magnets were just stronger. Unfortunately you can pull the grip straight off the phone if you pull hard enough, which was impossible with OhSnap grips. I'm really disappointed here because I absolutely /LOVE/ the now-defunct OhSnap form factor, and this would be a perfectly suitable replacement if they just put stronger magnets in it.Dear manufacturer, there is now a sizable market of people disappointed in OhSnap's new products who will buy your grip if you just make the magnets stronger, and you can sell this for 2-3x as much.

I have had these for years. I love them and how they are magnetic. My last two are not the same quality they have always been. One is magnetic but pops off when stuck to something. Never had the issue before. And both of the last two the rubber snapped on both.

I bought this because Oh Snap stopped making their 1.0 grip and I have over $100 in car/desk accessories that I didn't want to throw away. Unfortunately, this grip has weaker magnets which means that:1: You can pull the grip off the phone with very little force. This means that your phone will always be at risk of detaching from the grip and falling to the ground, defeating the whole purpose of the grip to begin with.2: The weak magnets don't attach to the Oh Snap 1.0 accessories like the car charger or desk stand.Aside from all the drawbacks mentioned above, I also received not only a clearly used & returned grip, but the attachment ring was pried off the previous customer's phone and is damaged beyond all usefulness. Don't waste your time on this product.

Based on reviews I bought this to replace the rubber band in my oh snap after 2 years since they stopped making them with the one finger ring. I don’t like the new pop socket ones. It worked out great. You need to be decent at small careful work because it was tricky but totally worth it. I thought it was going to rip when I was pulling it out of the center finger rest, but it came out with enough force just fine. I needed up just moving the rubber band AND the finger rest from this cheap one. It fits fine but doesn’t always click fully back into place without help, it feels a little different at first.The replacement band broke 5 month in. I’m still not entirely unhappy. This was a cheap tied me over solution.

It broke off my phone like 2 hours after I bought it & it fell off my phone in the store. I didn’t know till I got home that it wasn’t there. Made out of cheap materials

Feels so cheap. Does not hold up, waste of money....no doubter.

I was looking for a replacement OH Snap but the magnets on this one are too weak to stick to my original charger that's in my car. Works great as a grip, needs stronger magnets in the back to it can stick to things like the product its knocking off.

Good product, slim, needs a little working in, say 2 days or so of use

This is my second set. Because I like the set. It is two parts, one metal ring (with a double sided tape, that attach to the cell, and the magnetic finger piece, that attach to the ring) once I fix and use a better glue then it’s fine!.

It's OK for the most time but the magnetic ring snaps off, wouldn't trust this thing anywhere where you'll loose your phone.
