Gettysburg Solitaire: An Original Bookgame (Original Bookgames)

Disappointing
I have and enjoy the first two books in the series but sadly this one is a bit of a let down, mostly because of the lack of variety in scenarios and choice -I find myself almost forced into a single strategy every game. Even allowing for the overstatement of the number of scenarios, in the first books there were right or so in groups of four, here there are only two. Beyond that The choices to be made are also limited and repetative.I have edited.y original post to add some positives Thelonger rules explain action is longer and better for it. The AI is tough and does reflect the Federal strategy well. However, I feel that The book would have benefited from more variety. Perhaps half Gettysburg and the other half Antietam - this would reverse The position with The Federals on the attack. The book itself is well produced, so no complaints , but this time around the value is not there.
