Dual Whole House Water Filter System, Transparent Standard Housings, Presser Relief Button, 3/4” Inlet/Outlet Brass Port, 5 Micron Sediment & Carbon Cartridges Meets NSF Standards & Regulations

I needed to replace the filter canisters in our motor coach. While search Amazon for dual filters, I came across this product. Like the others, I could find nothing on who manufactured this anything really about it. The price was something that I felt good about trying as the design was interesting to say the least. The wrench that came with the unit I am sorry to say was broken. I reached out to the company and they quickly took care of the issue. (I was able to install and get it running however and did not need to wait.) I have no had any leaks but I also do use pipe sealant to help with that just in case. (Never can be to sure.) I am not sure on the build as to the brass inside fitting that then turn into plastic. To me it seems like you would be asking for leak issues like that. Every other manufacturer I have seen is PVC type fittings vs 1/2 brass and 1/2 plastic. But hey, at this point it does not leak so thus far so good.I also got a few of their filters other than the ones that came with it. They seem at this point to be of the same type of quality I have seen in other filters. (Though how can one really tell?) One thing I did find is that the 3M filters I normally would have used, the sediment filter would not fit as it was too small for some reason for the canister. I needed to add a seal, like you find on the bottom of the carbon filter, to the bottom sediment filter canister so it would be secure and tight. If this was not done, the water would have just gone around the filter at the top and bottom. (path or least resistance.) In the attached photo you will see the 3M filters installed. (Already had them open, so wanted to use them.) NOTE: This is NOT an issue with the filters they supplied. They are good and tight inside the housing. I wanted to mention this to those that may choose to use a brand name filter like 3M.The mounting plate is solid. While it is not metal, it still is very strong and allows it to be mounted in either direction. The plastic wrench however does not seem to be as solid, seeing the first one was broken, and does not feel good in the hand as the handle edges are not rounded and thus the feel is not that great. The good news is that you do not use it very often. My fear however is that if the canister was put on to tight, removing it could result in the wench breaking. At that point you really have no easy way to remove it as it is a totally different design with very large tops that you turn vs securing the canister itself. So in other words, you can not jut grab and turn the canister.Even though I could not find any information on this product, I will say that customer service was outstanding to work with. I would highly suggest to them to add more information about the product on Amazon. (IE...Who makes it and that it is made out of food grade plastics.) I think that not having this information could be hurting sales as it surely is an unknown "look" and thus people will wonder about the build. For the price, I took the risk. Note, they did mention they are the manufacturer, however I also found another person on Amazon selling the same unit with a higher price and not on prime.

I needed a whole house filter for water clarity and odor issues but was very limited on space. This unit was cheap and easy to install but due to poor design not all of the water is going through the filters. I’ve had periodic issues trying to get the canisters to stop leaking when changing the filters. After 4 years even new orings couldn’t stop the leaking. Maybe warped canisters? Bought a different unit for 3x the price and I love it! So much better in every way. Larger filters that fit the canisters mean all the water is getting filtered so much clearer water now.

I initially finished installing this "Dual Whole House Water Filter" along with addressing other plumbing issues at the same time therefore taking the better part of a day. The filter comes with a mounting bracket that allows you to rotate the filter housing left or right depending on which side your water inputs from (great feature!). It also comes with a 5 micron filter and a carbon block filter for taste and odor. Our city's water isn't too bad, but we like to remove the chlorine taste/smell and this lets us do it with just one mount and one pair of fittings. The base is very solid when all five screws are installed. Also, a plus for me was that the input and output ports are both brass inserts molded into the plastic housing. The o-rings are white (maybe a type of vinyl??) and are self-lubricating according to the seller (whom I called to ask), and I was also told that if/when they fail, I should contact them for replacement. We'll see how that goes, I guess.I was all ready to post my review, but decided to check it once more before doing so. When I did, I noticed leaks at the in and out ports. I tightened the fittings as much as I thought I should without risking breaking the housing, and it still leaked, so I contacted the seller. I was willing to try another filter housing if they were willing to let me. They were, and after about two days, I received the replacement. Within about 15 minutes, I had the replacement installed, and it has not leaked since. I am very happy with the looks, performance and service thus far. The manufacturer, apparently "Ronaqua," (according to the description on Amazon, but not on the product or packaging anywhere) is unknown to me, and a brief search on the internet turned up nothing very enlightening. If this product were made by a company I knew of, or could easily learn more about, I would have given it 5 stars. I gave it 4, because I think accountability (i.e., name and contact info on the product and/or packaging) for your products is just a given if you have nothing to hide. Since the price was right for all the features and included items, I still took a chance, and so far don't think I am going to regret it.

I ordered this unit and it arrived broken. Amazon promptly shipped me out a replacement, which also arrived broken. I made one good unit from the 2 broken sets, and then sent the rest of the parts back.As long as you have no broken parts, the unit works very well and is pretty simple to install. Just a note: do not over-tighten the filter chambers when screwing them on. Too tight and the seal will leak. It's also a good idea to coat the rubber O-ring seals with some petroleum jelly to help create a good seal.

Received everything intact. The filter system appears robust. Have not installed as yet because I just replaced my whole-house filter. The existing single filter holder hangs in mid air and removing bowl stresses existing piping. Plan to install this new filter station to the wall with bracket supplied. Will update after installation...

Havent used it yet. Seems high quality. It will be used outside as a filter for our RV. Problem is we cant find connectors/adapters that will go in each side. They have to swivel, so its been an issue. The threads arent totally normal on it... any help would be great. I know its simple but...
