Got the pack of 5 and the first one I fitted was a dud, did not adjust the voltage at all.Hopefully the rest are better .

I ordered 5 of these to power some NeoPixel projects I had in mind. The items arrived well within the timeframe specified but the items were not the same as the image. I'm not complaining as the received items were of a higher spec, had a digital voltmeter display and selection buttons to toggle between input and output voltages. I am powering around 30 LED elements at 5 volts, relates to around 2.4 Amps. The chip and the inductor on the board get pretty warm at this load and despite fitting a heatsink from an A4988 stepper driver, the voltage reg chip is still hot to the touch. It's claimed that the device has an efficiency of 95% but this feels like its way more than half a watt of heating going on. Saying that, it has functioned perfectly and has not tripped on over-temperature yet, but I'm reluctant to put it in an un-ventilated enclosure. The 7 segment display is red in colour and looks good when illuminated. A button on the board toggled the display on or off and a 2nd button toggles between input and output voltage display. For the money I can't fault it but it could do with a bit more passive cooling area.

The first one worked out of the box. I haven't yet tested the other four. Nicely designed compact little board, very simple to work with.

These are great for low voltage reducers. I use them at 12v & 5v input to power various items. They just work!

Ease of use, set as standard output of 12v? either way the output has to be lower than the input by afew volts. I made 7 full anti clockwise revolutions to lower this then attached my psu and checked the output slowly increasing output to the required voltage. In my case this was 5 volts, these are DC TO DC. Looking for a solution for original PS1 psu to raspberry pi4 then this is your converter to do that.

I've bought another lot of these now. They are well made and easily adjustable too.I normally put a drop of nail varnish on the adjustment pot once I've set them but so far I've been really pleased with these units.
