Haven't had much luck
I wouldn't say that this product is better than any of the others, but I doubt it's any worse. The wheel makes a scratch in the glass and then you use hot and cold water to break it. I've only tried three so far but none of those made a clean break and the bottle had to be trashed. Definitely not a sure fire answer to cutting glass, I just thought it would be easier

It works!
I wanted to try to make some wine bottle candles and just needed a good even scorer to do the job. The blades was easy to adjust, and within minutes after opening the package I had scored 4 bottles! Now only 2 out of the 4 broke perfectly, but I attribute that to my errors rather than the cutter. You really can't beat the price on this one, so just go ahead and buy it already!

Unimpressed. Maybe it's just me?
I just didn't have a lot of luck and certainly don't even try to use anymore. Even when I got bottles scored well, it was still not that easy to get one to break smoothly. I tried multiple ways. Real Hot then real cold water, as well as a torch to real cold water. I had a lot more luck with the torch, but it was a hassle.

Liked it very much
Liked it very much. Just wish it had more attatchments. Like one that would allow you to make bottle necks smaller. The back plate has a hole in it that would allow for some kind of mount that you could turn a bottle from the neck side. Mayde i can come up with something.

I finally feel like a Pinterest artist!
Bought this and it works great! Be aware that it SCORES the glass only rather than cutting it (which I knew before purchasing it, based on YouTube videos). You cut the bottles by scoring the glass using this device and then you have to alternate between boiling water and ice cold water in order to get the bottle to break. It's pretty simple and there are lots of great YouTube videos on how to do it. Highly recommend this product as this method is way safer than the string-and-fire method which I have not attempted and am too scared to try. The first bottle I tried broke because it split while I was holding it over the sink rather than in a tub of water, but the next ones I made worked great! The cut is about as smooth and perfect as could be expected when splitting a glass bottle and some sanding will make it so that I can safely use the cut bottles as drinking glasses :)

DON'T buy this one! The higher-than-some price doesn't get you anything more. Maybe even less
Awful! Paid more than the cheapest glass bottle cutter expecting a superior product. Boy! Was I disappointed! ☹️ Product showed up on my doorstep in just the flimsy product packaging: torn, beat-up. The interior included a lightwear plastic bag with parts to assemble. Directions were incomplete, sparse and hard to follow, with no directions for assembly. I watched several YouTube videos to get the idea of how to use. Admittedly, glass bottle cutting isn't my thing-tried over a dozen various bottles using various techniques with a success rate of 0! Was very disappointed that I spent $20 on junky item. And return would cost me $10!

Fun and Easy enough for kids to use!
I bought two of these to use in teaching community Trash to Art workshops. First chance to try them out was a kid's summer camp. We had the 10-12 yos cutting up bottles and having a great time. In 2 groups of boys and 2 groups of girls there wasn't a drop of blood shed and the kids had an amazing time. Not every attempt came out perfect and it is an exercise in patience, but of the three types of glass etching systems we had, this was the easiest to figure out and get to work. We used candle flame and a bucket of room temp water to make the break and that generally worked great. I did have to email customer service for some help with initial setup and found them super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to deploy these into an adult workshop now to get our community creative folks cutting up the huge quantities of glass bottles littering our hillsides!

Not as easy to use as I had hoped
Not as easy to use as I had hoped. I used common-sized bottles and was unable to lineup the bottle correctly to get a clear cut.
