Elite Gourmet EWM-2207# Electric Non-Stick Belgian Waffle Maker Iron, Breakfast, Sandwiches, Snacks, Burgers and more, 2-Slice, Black

Our old Belgian waffler finally quit and after searching a lot of models, I decided on this one, because I prefer simplicity. After prepping it as per instructions, I heated it up (the 'on' and 'heated' lights are nice) and started with my tried and true recipe. In a short time, we had delicious waffles. The latch was easy to use and the 'overflow ring' outside of the waffle pattern is a nice touch. I cleaned it as instructed and it's ready for our next breakfast. I've used this just the one time so far, but see no reason that it won't continue working. The waffle pattern isn't as deep as my old Belgian waffler, but it's still in the ballpark.

Nice small waffle iron! First time ever having one & this one is fine, don’t need to over fill or under fill it, just fill it in with batter evenly & it will be fine! Durable, gets job done & doesn’t take up space. Also use for eggs patties & did well with them as well. No complaints!

This waffle maker seemed cheap but should’ve been free. I can’t imagine anyone is after waffles that are thinner than printer paper, but that’s how thin they have to be to fit in this maker. Mind you I don’t need Belgian waffles, but waffles do have some width and that’s simply not going to happen w this machine. You also can’t make medium sized waffles - it holds very little batter and if there is any excess they leak all over the damn thing into every crevice and crack until you inevitably have to spend more time cleaning it than you did eating breakfast. But I’m returning it because of the cooking quality. The moment you plug it in, it’s on - there are no settings and it cooks so damn fast that you hardly have time to spread around the batter. Fine if you enjoy doughy-burnt waffles.

Such a great deal! Love it. Does not stick, takes 2 min for pancakes or waffles to be ready. Works well.

This waffle iron seemed very simple and kind of cheap right off the bat. It does technically cook waffles, buuut it seems like the waffles are flatter—like the little indents are not very deep—compared to our old iron, and you can see on the waffles a circle of extra browning like that must be where the heating elements are located, 🤣 …the cord is super short, so we aren’t able to use the waffle iron in the spot where we usually plug in small appliances. Today the kids used it to make cheese sandwiches with squishy white sandwich bread, and the bottom handle broke completely off of the waffle iron. It lasted less than 18 months. I guess you get what you pay for. Not buying another Elite Gourmet item.

Thus little waffle maker is so easy to use! I bought it to try some of the waffle recipes I've seen online. They usually use the little round shaped one. But I thought that was time consuming. I wanted something small that would make 2 waffles at one time. This is it! The waffles are each approximately 4x4.75 in size. The only thing that is a negative is the fact that the red light stays on throughout the process. I don't why. But I just remove the waffles when they reach the desired browning. It's not a problem enough for me to return it. I like it too much! The cord is approximately 2-3 feet long long and the waffle maker is easy ti clean with the nonstick coating on the plates. The plates are permanently installed. Overall, I am very pleased with this little waffle makerand would recommend. It is made in China, but works very well and the price was good for something I use frequently but not every day. A great little waffle maker.
