Nice and wide but needs grip strip
For those of us with lymphedema which causes leg swelling, this is a nice, wide product. The only flaw is that the sock slides off of the device with the slightest tugging up. There is no sticky patch at the back to keep the sock on the device longer. Still....it is much more comfortable than the wire device.

The concept is great, however
I am an OT and I ordered this devise hoping that it would help my patient to don his compression sock more independently. Unfortunately, after using this item for only 1 week, it splint down the middle. The concept is great, however; it is poorly constructed. The plastic material should be thicker and more durable so that it lasts longer. I ended up ordering a 5" wide sock aid as a replacement and it has worked beautifully and is very durable.

Finally something that works with tight compression socks
My husband has a fused ankle so he has very limited mobility in it and it is (and always will be) somewhat swollen. He wears a compression to hep keep the swelling down some. I’ve ordered and returned a few different devices and finally this one works. He can finally out on the sock without assistance from someone. Highly recommend this device for people with limited mobility who needs help getting a compression sock on by themselves.

It was flexible but maybe too soft - not the easiest to use.

A Little Large For Most Users....
I found this donner to be quite a bit too large for my application and would be for most users. I wear a 10 1/2 size shoe and it's difficult to stretch my compression stocking over.....

Works Great
This compression stocking aid was recomended by a therapist and has worked perfectly for me. It allows the stocking to slip easily over my heel which is the most difficult part of the process for me.Several reviewers have noted that their’s have broken during use. I hope mine holds up. I am completely satisfied with it so far.

Surprised by the accomodation to my big feet
I was concerned about the size of this aid, wondering if my compression socks would really fit on it. Several of the other plastic sock aids that I have purchased, split in the middle after 6 months. When I received this aid I immediately tried it out. My compression socks as well as diabetic dress socks pulled up onto the aid with the same difficulty as the other aids. But I quickly discovered that this aid has more space for my wide foot and with a little talcum powder, split on my foot. For nearly a year I have been using it and it has not split or presented a problem. The smaller sock aids that I purchased have set in the drawer and not been used.

Poor quality plastic!
This contraption works good but breaks FAR TOO SOON! I bought 3 of these - one after another. The first one broke after 2+ months, so I blamed myself! The second one broke in the same place after I had used it carefully for 2 more months. I still thought I had maybe gotten a couple bad apples so I bought another and also bought a different metal core design sock aid. They arrived quickly - great. I used the metal (heavy wire) version first and it took me 2 tries to get the hang of it - WOW really easy on with the socks!!!! SENT the plastic one back (never used).. Amazon quickly refunded my money and I am happy using the wire sock aid - No more plastic versions for me. I appreciate the return service - but not this poor product.
