ChemglassCG-1506-23 Glass 1000mL Heavy Wall Single Neck Round Bottom Flask, with 24/40 Standard Taper Outer Joint

This is my third round bottom flask, and definitely my favorite so far. It comes down to one feature, as the performance is identical otherwise: Heavy Walls. I'm kinda clumsy, and this thing has already withstood some hair-raising blows with nary a crack. I've also used it for sulfuric acid distillation, which runs at 639°F/337°C using a heating mantle, and it shows no signs of giving up the ghost.

It's a great, thick, sturdy flask that fits perfectly with my 24/40 distillation set. My only complaint is that, since I missed the delivery and my apartment has no buzzers, I had to pick it up from a shipping center that, in my location at least, was in a pretty sketchy and hard-to find part of town. But I don't exactly think that's the company's fault, so they get 5 stars anyway! Good piece of equipment.

Man this glass just feels like quality. Chemglass is the absolute best when it comes to good quality glassware. I have ordered this flask along with a 34-piece chemistry set from China- this feels like it could drop to the floor and not have a scratch on it, but the same looking flask from the chemistry set looks like it could break in my hand.

Description clearly states "3 units" but I only received one flask. The flask is nice, but there are plenty of just as nice flasks for half the price I just paid

Very good uniform wall thickness, no visible defects anywhere and a professionally ground joint. I highly recommend Chemglass equipment for anyone who wants to do work under a vacuum or with any temperatures above 100c without having to worry about implosions or shattering. Very good quality.
