I bought this case to protect a portable scanner I purchased the same day. The quality of the case is excellent, it protects the scanner very well when traveling. It is sturdy, easy to open and close. The only negative is with the portable scanner (this was the recommended case) in this case, the cord for the scanner has no place to store, not enough room in the case. I just put the cord in my laptop bag as they are normally together. But overall, excellent.

Perfect fit. The case is semi hard shell that adds protection to the scanner. I am delighted with the purchase.

The case is much as it is described, hard protective outer shell that will definitely do the job of protecting the VuPoint Wand and Auto Dock. There is a nice little handle on the back end which makes it easy to carry around, and the interior has a little pouch in the lid that can hold the cable for the dock. The auto dock itself fits in there nice and snug, no rattling around. The reason I give it 3 stars is because mine arrived smelling awful. I can't get the smell out no matter what I do. I plan on returning the item.

I love this case. It is a perfect fit for the scanner. I take it with me when someone ask and they all love it.
