Works Great
This laptop is great, very fast and with lots of memory (I take machine learning courses and need lots of memory). The only downside is battery life for me this is not an issue since I am not a road warrior. It also has a setting that only permits charging to 80% to save battry life so leaving it plugged in is not an issue.

Incredible perforrmance
For a 14" ultrabook of any brand to have a 12th gen i9 processor and 32GB RAM, 1TB M.2, and a 2.8k OLED display is incredible. This thing is lightning fast! Cool features like number pad built into the touch pad, full aluminum case, and a fun little customizable display on the lid take it over the top. I love it! Only thing i will warn you on is the battery life. As you can imagine, you will not be powering all that up in a tiny laptop and get good battery life. 4 hours is the max you'll get so if you need long life, find an i5 machine with a standard display. This one won't be good for you.

No durability
I purchased mine 2 years ago for brand new. The performance is really good. Everything is fast and smooth. However, it couldn’t withstand the hours of work. My motherboard and capacitors burnt. I wouldn’t recommend the laptop especially for the price. It’s not worth it. If you’re paying that amount, the laptop should last at least 4-5 years

Looks good, pretty quiet, great screen, semi-cushy keyboard, poor battery life
I'm comparing this laptop with a ThinkPad P1 Gen5, a ThinkPad X1C 7th gen, and the MacBook Pro M1 Max.Pros:- nice looks, with grey/aluminum finish that won't catch fingerprints (much better than the black ThinkPads)- excellent screen, and the gloss is (surprisingly) not annoying, even on black backgrounds, unless you have light (e.g. windows or light fixtures) behind you (then it is highly reflective)- quiet under low load, though the fans do spin up while under the same kind of load the X1C is completely silent. CPU coil while can be heard. Haven't noticed it on the P1Gen5.Cons:- Poor battery life. Watching YouTube drains the battery surprisingly fast.- Fans spin up and down under no load (typing this review in Firefox with the total CPU utilization across all cores under 5% each).- The keyboard shrunk the arrow keys to half the height of all other keys. This is patently stupid when compared to the ThinkPad keyboard arrows block design. Also, they removed the space between F4/F5 and F8/F9. Again, patently stupid, when there's plenty of space on the top row to allow for that standard extra space. Key travel is somewhere between the ThinkPads and the MBP, but I liked the faster MBP travel better.- The weight is pretty high for lacking a dedicated/discrete GPU: 1477 grams. For just 200 more grams you can get a 16" Tuxedo with 64Gb RAM and NVidia GPU.- There's something weird about the USB ports. It's awkward/slightly difficult to plug cables or flash drives in them, likely because they're too low in the body of the laptop. Never had this problem with a laptop before, in 15 years of using laptops. Anyway, you just need to pay more attention when you plug things in.- Warmer than the skin under the minimal load above, especially on the bottom.- Super annoying to open up and upgrade the SSD. To open the case, you need to unscrew 8 six-lobe screws, remove the back rubber feet and unscrew 2 more Philips screws. Why they didn't adopt the tool-less back cover design that DELL used a decade ago, beats me.- The screen doesn't lay flat. The P1 Gen 5 does.

Great Laptop
This laptop is very nice. It's light, touch screen and it hasn't slowed down since I've purchased it.

This thing is a beast
Been very happy with this laptop, hasn’t blinked yet with anything I’ve thrown at it. I do a decent amount of photo/video editing and light gaming. No issues with battery life either as I know that’s been a common issue.

Pick a different zenbook...space version is an overpriced lemon
I've had this right at a year, and of course, it dies dramatically right after the warranty expiration. Grrr.I've had Zenbooks since about 2012...for me, they're USUALLY super reliable & great laptops. Unfortunately, this one has been a lemon, yet it's also the most expensive one I've ever bought, at 2k+ when I bought it.The comments about the keyboard lighting are true....even at highest setting I could barely make out the keys - for whatever the reason, on this laptop the keyboard lighting does NOT light the symbols & letters well at all! AND!!! it seems to randomly decrease and/or turn off the keyboard lighting whenever it so desires....There is the wierd Asus issue that can pop up after updates of non-stop psychedelic blinking keyboards. I figured this one out early on and reset that as needed - I don't know why Asus does this, but once you know the reset it's not a biggie. An added issue specific to this space edition (for me at least...) is black screen for several seconds EVERY time I unplug or re-plug in the power cord. It's super anxiety producing and has done this since day one.I've had a few issues with slowing/stuttering that I can fix by closing all and restarting - unfortunately that became more and more frequent, requiring restart several times per week the few months before dramatically dying (yes, I virus checked, optimized system, etc.). Up until the huge meltdown and "hardware error" system message when safe-mode troubleshooting, I was willing/able to put up with the quirks and increasing need for resets. The fact that it's death was within a few weeks of warranty expiration was distressing (just like the only other bad Zenbook I had back in 2016, which died within days of warranty expiration)... what is this odd issue of breaking immediately after warranty expiration? If it didn't seem so very ridiculous I'd feel suspicious of purposeful planned breakage/obsolescence....Other than the two bad ones I've had, I've had 4 others that were fantastic, as well as my longest lasting laptops before I felt the need to upgrade. (For me long lasting is 2.5-3 years). I've had acer (they're almost disposable, lasting about a year if you're lucky), Lenovo (both Yoga & Thinkpad) they slow and grow sluggish way too fast - at least those I've had, Dell (Alienware long-lasting & good, regular Dell "meh"...), HP - (never HP again, terrible overheating and poor fan - doesn't handle well at all the high demand I put on my laptops. One actually had smoke coming out the back!). For me, so far, Zenbooks have been the most reliable & high functioning for the way I use my PC.Apparently I'm a high demand user....I've been told the way I use a laptop is borderline abusive....I typically have 3 different browsers going (sometimes 4) usually chrome, firefox & opera, each with multiple tabs open and chrome browser (my primary) with anywhere between 8-50 tabs, plus file explorer, MS word (not the online version) with multiple open docs (3-10ish), a few pdf docs (3-10) in my PDF reader, and spotify or youtube running....A big chunk of days I'm also running zoom meetings for at least 5 hours (for that I one-tab most browser tabs and only keep open approx 5-10 in each of 3 browsers... plus slack always on & active...My laptop runs like this from about 7am till midnight daily.I don't know that I agree it's abusive, but at the very least it does push the capacity and power needs to the max, so my systems have to be able to handle that. Zenbooks have been great for this except for the two I've had die right after warranty expiration. The point: Zenbooks are usually great. For whatever reason this space version is not. It's been one of my worst performing zenbooks and I do not recommend it. Look at a different zenbook .....than this, or accept that you'll overpay for the "space" design and anticipate the need to replace it within a year or so....

No Bluetooth on the device
Biggest drawback is that it doesn't have built in Bluetooth. But otherwise a good device
