Quality Jumbo Grips
The JumboMax STR8 Tech non-tapered golf grips are lightweight, comfortable, and durable. For me, the larger grip and the non-taper keep me from holding the grip too tight. With other grips, I have a tendency to put a strangle hold on the golf club and sometimes let my hands get too active. Golf grip preferences vary depending on the person. For someone who played baseball or softball, the JumboMax grips might feel more comfortable since they have more surface area to hold versus standard golf grips.

This Grip Changed My Golf Scores. Better fit and control with these grips for a seventies male golfer. They help me to be more face aware. They are easier on my hands and wrists. Years ago I had to switch to a 10 finger baseball grip because the interlock grip was hurting my fingers and the overlap grip felt like I couldn't control the club. These grips solved those issues.

Best non tapered grip
Excellent grip! It has no taper, so it has a full, solid feel through out swing. It helps to heat grip with hot water so that in slides on shaft very easily.

Feels great
Helped me gain control. I have big hands and this help me fill out the grip more. Loved it so much I put on all my drivers, woods irons and even my putter. Cut off 5 strokes or so

Great value and useful
Quick shipping. Grip seems durable and comfortable. I put it on a chipper club so it would seem more like a putter. Works well for that.

Can Easily be Damaged if Installed with Compressed Air - Updated Review Oct 2022
This review is specific to the Jumbo Max Textured Grips not the regular Jumbo Max grips. Update - 10/5/22 In my original review, which is below, I was critical of the design of this grip and how it can be damaged using compressed air to install grips - which is becoming more popular now too. I have left that review intact as it does stand on it's own, however, now that I have had some time to play with the textured grip I really like and prefer the feel over the normal Jumbo Max grips. So I have changed my review to four star instead of one. I am still taking off one star due to the issues I encountered that should be addressed in my opinion. However, I have since modified my installation method somewhat to lessen the chance of damaging the grip and will likely be buying more of the textured grips in the future as I prefer the tacky feel they provide over the standard grips. Original Review I moved to the Jumbo Max grips this year and love them - the non-textured model that is. When I saw they came out with a textured model I was excited to try them since I have used some similarly textured grips in the past and liked the feel, just could not get them in this size and non-tapered. I decided to purchase two to install on my 9 iron and 8 iron. These are nice grips and have the feel I like, but they are not as well made as the non-textured grips - specifically the rubber used on the end cap of the grip. The manufacturer made a design change and created a pocket at the end of the grip to accommodate shaft sensors like those from Across - which I guess is a cool feature if you use sensors. But the rubber material used in the center of the pocket that contacts the end of the shaft and accepts the sensor (drain hole) is very thin and can easily tear. I use compressed air to install my grips over the tape and glue method. When installing one of these grips the shaft did not bottom out on the rubber as it normally does, but instead just pushed past it splitting the rubber material. Once that happened I could no longer adjust the grip with compressed air. I was left with a club that had a shaft sized hole in the grip with tape sticking out of the end. So I ended up having to cut off a brand new grip and re-install the non-textured Jumbo Max grip I had removed. I regret not taking a picture to more accurately show what I am describing. I have used compressed air to install grips for a few years now and have done it countless times and never encountered a problem like this one. Normally the rubber on the end of the grip is like an 1/8" thick or thicker so when the grip is installed, you can push it on until it bottoms out no problem- which is really what you want to do so you are sure the grip is on all the way. This rubber is much thinner - closer to a 1/16". Not only can it rip during installation, but it is so thin I am confident if sensors are used, they could easily fall out over time. It's not a deal breaker if you do not plan to use sensors or install your grips using tape and glue - although if you tap the club on the ground after the grip is installed, which is normal practice, you could cause the shaft to tear the rubber and have the shaft end exposed. But if you do use compressed air to install grips, you need to be very careful to not push the grip on with too much pressure expecting it to bottom out. A contributing factor to this problem is the grips with the pocket are the exact same length as a regular grip without the pocket on the end which is about 3/8" deep. So when I was installing the grip I assumed I needed to continue pushing until the tape on the shaft was covered by the grip - which is the normal process. In this case, and because I did not even feel it bottom out, I ended up pushing it on too far and splitting the rubber. So when installing one of these grips you need to be careful not to cut the tape too long based on the length of the grip on the outside since on the inside it is actually 3/8" of an inch less. I am very disappointed with this purchase since I had to wreck a brand new grip. In the end I might even purchase more of these grips if the one I did get installed ends up feeling that much better. Now that I know of the issue, I can probably figure out a way to adjust my process. Still, if the rubber was the normal thickness it would have been fine so IMO this is a design flaw and I stand by my rating and review.

Received package earlier than expected. Bought 3 for driver, 3-wood and wedge. Had them fitted the next day. Amazing grips. Love the feel, especially as I do a base ball grip. Will order more to fit out my irons.

Looks good, feels great, and I feel much more comfortable when using my driver. This helps especially if you have pain in the wrist and finger joints(I used to work as an upholsterer). I’m not an expert golfer but I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is not happy with some aspect of their game if that relates to comfort in the way they grip that golf club.

This absolutely fixed my club issue of the grips falling out of my right hands palm area when at my back swing and made my driver actually fun to use again! It also got rid of my wrist pain. I need to get this for all my clubs the fit is perfect and it's so easy to use. Also love the look.
