Bought this last November. Charged it and put in cupboard. Think I have topped the charge up once over the year. Today 18th November 2025, car battery dead, lights left on. We have a Toyota Yaris, 2013. Never used this before. Connected the leads +/-, pressed the button. Turned the key and started the car instantly. Great piece of kit, no waiting hours for a rescue service to arrive. Would highly recommend. Used for the first time and this has covered the cost. Compact for storage. Ideally, should be kept in the car. If going a long journey would definitely carry. Very easy to use.

Bought as a gift , as I have purchased one last year absolute must have for your car it’s a brilliant item good value for money, easy and safe to use and it’s got other features such as a torch and charging for your phone. Brilliant item definitely would recommend.

Went through a lot of reviews of portable jump starters on that video website - and they all pretty much pointed to GooLoo as the best. So I bought the GT4000 and it's been great. Then I needed a powerbank. Why not get a jump starter for use as a powerbank for my laptop, and with the bonus of having a starter available for the other car aswell! I wasn't going to spend the same amount again (over £120) so, at £54.14 after discount (Sep 2024) this fit the bill. It is not as good as it's bigger sibling, but it does the job perfectly, and naturally, it isn't as heavy or "bricky" as the GT4000 but that's the point for this purchase. Unlike the GT4000, it doesn't come with the dc jack to cigarette lighter adaptor, but you can get one of those for less than a tenner (or fiver) elsewhere, so that's not an isssue. Build quality is great, the pouch is good, not as good as the shell-case for the GT4000 and the lack of display doesn't matter for this bracket. Lithium Ion batteries are dangerous - so it's best to go with a recognised brand, and with the amount of energy that is packed into these, it is a serious consideration. As long as it does it's job safely, that's all that matters - just remember, as with all high energy storage devices, if it is indoors, best to be near a window or door that you can throw it out of ... Just in case ... but that's why you didn't buy a cheap chinese one in the first place ... right?

I had to return a similar item to this, because the screen was all but invisible in daylight. When this replacement to it arrived, it was reassuringly weighty proving a substantial battery was powering it and it was so obviously not only well-made but well thought-out in every way too, not to mention beautifully designed. So much so, one really didn't need the Instruction Manual provided. I was thrilled when on a bright sunny day I could still "see" the screen contents easily but got seriously blown away when I pumped up a slow-leaking tyre on my Mercedes C220 Estate, prior to driving it to my local tyre-bay. From just 8 PSI to 34 PSI in less than 2 mins - wow, much, much quicker than even the manufacturers' claims on this one and so much quieter than my two previous ones to boot. Noticeably so. My car battery is just fine so I've not been able to test this (because I can't be faffed to disconnect my car's battery to do so?). All this and a bag to hold the whole kit & caboodle in too, really makes this inflator/jump-starter from GooLoo (X7) a real winner in my book (and the only one of its type in its class that inflates tyres up to 160 PSI). Just to confirm that as well, the obligatory USB C charging cable is provided as well as 3 additional and differing nozzles for the compressor hose for air-beds, balls etc, making this kit about as complete as anyone would want it to be? Yes, it's just a little pricier, but that's a small price to pay for the peace of mind I'll certainly get from owning this and having it in my car for those unwanted always least expected events. Why then have I dropped a star in this review? Well, it's only a niggly point, but the ONLY improvement I would like to have seen, was the battery indicator for this device should ideally be a digital one and not a battery icon with only 4 bars. If it had that, it'd be as close to perfection as it could possibly get in my opinion. Go on, buy it, take it from me you'll not only be well impressed but you'll also be well pleased with it. Take it with you wherever you go s and have peace of mind with you.

Bought for daughter as we have one already. Came fully charged. The one we have (same model/spec) has been very effective at starting both cars (diesel and petrol) and motorbikes. The charge lasts ages - think we topped up once in the last year. Easy to use. Highly recommend 😊

Great piece of kit. Due to surgery and not being able to drive, the battery on my car went flat. The battery was completely dead and I had to utilise the “boost” button on the unit to jump the battery. Unfortunately, despite jump starting it 6 times, my car wouldn’t run for long and kept conking out. The power this unit must have is enormous to start my car so many times in “boost” mode and still have half a charge left. Jumped started it again the next day and this time it stayed running and all is ok. It’s small and comes in its own case, so it fits in your glove compartment. I would thoroughly recommend this bit of kit!
