Excellent for dogs with heart problems.

Max, my 13 1/2 year old yorkie, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, an enlarged heart and a heart murmur after a lengthy stay at the emergency hospital for a seizure. The vet cardiologist recommended a list of supplements or these easy little chews along with Viagra twice a day to treat the hypertension. After looking up all of the individual supplements, I decided that these chews were easier, had the recommended dosages and were also cost effective. He has happily eaten them since I received them and would prefer to have more than one a day. I have been cutting each chew in half and giving it as a treat twice a day so he thinks he's getting more. I hope that they are benefiting his health and will help extend his life so that I have more time with my baby.The chews I received are not super, squishy soft but definitely not hard, just chewy and do not have a foul odor as some others have reported. I will definitely be mindful of smell and texture on any future orders.

These are not overly priced and my dog likes the way they taste so I have no trouble getting her to take these chews. They were highly recommended by the Vet so I will keep buying them.
