This belt is mighty.
This belt is well built and strong. You can really feel the belt compress and stretch your back. It doesn't immediately relieve pain but with regular use it has helped loosen my back therefore bringing about some pain relief. It helps me stand taller and correct my posture too. Glad I got it. Saved me $$ on chiropractor visits.

The pump breaks easily.
While the belt itself is nice, 3 weeks after purchasing the included pump has already broken.

As back braces go- very comfortable!
I've tried a lot of back braces, because I have a very bad lower back that is getting worse every day, thanks to my work. I had seen the air-pump-up belts by Dr. Ho on TV informercials, but my insurance wouldn't cover one, and the price was too high for me. When I saw this, I had to try it! The price is low. It's very easy to use, and very comfortable to wear. The smallest of the 2 sizes it comes in is still a little big for me (I'm a 5/6); I'd have preferred a tighter fit. It pumps up, but not an extreme amount, just enough to tighten it a little, not enough to reposition a sagging spine. Despite the directions saying not to, I slept in this. There was nothing to dig into me, and I needed the support. I'll probably use this as my sleeping belt rather than my working belt. It's muchmore comfortable, but dos't have enough support to prevent further work injuries.

Uncomfortable to wear, not a 'back cracker'
First, this is not what I thought it was, I thought it would 'crack' your back, instead it's basically a baloon around your midsection that doesn't really do anything more than any normal back brace and is pretty infortable to wear as well as a major pain to set up.Im a bigger guy but not huge and I still had to use the included extra velcro pad to lengthen the belt to fit me, once you have it on you have to air it up like a bicycle tire pump and at that point it starts to be uncomfortable as it's stretching and pinching your skin (especially if you're hairy). The support it gives is less than any generic back brace you could get at your local supermarket pharmacy department.
