The Mezlan family began its legacy in footwear making saddles for generations of European aristocrats. With a reputation for fine workmanship and superior craftsmanship, the Mezlan name became regarded as one of the finest in the world. Over time, Mezlan increased their production capabilities, transforming from a custom shop to a cottage industry, to a small manufacturer. As always, the focus was on making beautiful footwear with the original master touch of quality and craftsmanship. To this day, the Mezlan family remains the author of brilliant shoes and accessories made all better by a rich and interesting history. Injected Memory Foam Comfort

Highly Fashionable!
There has not been a time that I have worn these shoes out and not received a compliment. They are comfortable with a stylish edge that you can pair with jeans or a nice pair of slacks. I am a 39 yr old male and have had these shoes since about 2017; they are age appropriate.I am looking into getting other colors and shoes from the Manufacture.

Shoes seems stylish and are comfortable after a 1 day break in period
Update: 9/26/17Shoes still holding up strong. Bought the mocha/taupe as well.Item was delivered as promised. Shoes seems stylish and are comfortable. I like to use shoe horns to put on most of my shoes, it's just so much easier and probably adds life to the shoe. So far so good, if any problems arise, I will keep you all apprised.

Great nicer casual shoes
I've been looking at these shoes for months and finally bought them. They are exactly what I've been wanted to wear with my jeans for a nicer casual look. They are also very comfortable.

however they've dressed up the casual aspect of the outfits quite nicely.
Pairs well with dark jeans or knee length, flat front shorts. I've only worn them in casual settings, however they've dressed up the casual aspect of the outfits quite nicely.

Still comfortable, though don't expect these to feel like cushioned ...
Fit exactly to size. I live in a place where the sidewalks are rough and the pedestrians apathetic (NYC). I know if I wear these outside they'll show drastic wear and tear. So I've relegated these to office and events only shoes. As such they still look new after two years. Still comfortable, though don't expect these to feel like cushioned running shoes without a replacement insole. Regardless they're much better than wearing typical dress shoes all day. I work in a very fashion-conscience environment and am constantly receiving compliments from men and women alike. Are they worth the price? That's up to you. It's much easier to justify the cost though if you can get several years out of them.

Flop, flop, fizzle, fizzle, oh what a mess it is
So, brush brush, fizz, fizz, oh what a reliefe it isn't (to paraphrase an old commercial for Alka Seltzer): The pair of shoes that I am reviewing is the second pair of the same shoe. I wrote a review of the first pair and Amazon squelched it. Let's see if this one gets through. Gives me pause to wonder if there aren't some back room deals for some products for whatever reason. (Pardon my paranoia). So, the first pair were in plastic bags inside the shoe box (which wasn't even a Mezlan box) and looked as though they had been stored in a warehouse which had gotten too warm and residue was left on the suede. I returned them as unacceptable. I ordered a second pair. (Ya think I really wanted these, wouldn't you?). Box comes and inside a real Mezlan (classy) box, shoes in protective felt covers. Maybe this is going to work. I took out the first shoe and couldn't help but notice that this pair suffered the same malady as the first pair. I'll try to clean it with some new and expensive suede/nubuck cleaner and a gentle brush. No luck. Then I noticed that the sole where it wrapped around the bottom and up the lowest part of the shoe looked splotchy--dull then not dull. I attempted a gentle cleaning with a kitchen dishrag. Big mistake. The sticky residue on the sole was leaving part of my dishrag behind. All told I spent nearly an hour trying to "clean" the shoes. This was the very first "luxury" pair of sneakers that I have ever had. But they looked worse than cheap quasi-suede shoes made in China. I am going to return them because they are a hideous joke insofar quality that I expected from a $300 pair of "sneakers". I don't know if I want to be bothered trying to order another pair or just move on. These are not the only pretty face in the fashion sneaker market.

Time to buy another pair?
I bought my Mazlen casuals 2mos ago... the fit and comfort was excellent... So I'd say 5-Stars all the way. Just like the previous two reviews, compliments flowed. But ForReal, the best part the is comfort and feel of WEARING these shoes...Unfortunately, I took these tennis shoes up to Marquette with me (480 miles) wore them twice, but forgot them when I came home. I've been without them for a whole month now and have missed half the summer and wearing them out to summer events (Concerts, Shopping, and even Clubs!!). The shoes can dress-up to any event and sooo comfortable you can spend the day shopping and wear them to fine dining after. It goes without saying, Italy makes the best shoes PERIOD.
