Lasts six hours on medium light, battery clip broke after about one year.
It's a big light that lasts for about six hours using the medium light setting. It uses the actual batteries from the GoPro, but sometimes the batteries can pop out of the sockets and this causes problems when using the light or recharging it. I always have to check that the batteries are seated properly before each use and recharge cycle. The batter clip on the door broke on mine about a year later. Fortunately I contacted the seller (Good Partner Sports) and they shipped me a couple of replacement doors free of charge, and I thank them for that. Wish I could give them five star feedback for their service.I use mine on a chest harness that I wear while walking and jogging.Doesn't seem as sturdy as the other LED light I bought years ago (Shoot), but it has a better battery life and better part replacement options (batteries and doors) than that one.

Awesome and Inexpensive light for Action Cameras
I used this light for SCUBA diving with my action cam. It worked great in the waters of Belize during day and night dives. The dual batteries made it perfect for doing multiple dives before needing to recharge them. It comesounting hardware and charging cord. Thanks to this light I have great underwater photos and videos of reefs. Sea life, and stalagtites in the Blue Hole. I highly recommend buying these.

Worthless and broke within ten seconds of use on first dive.
I took this light for a shallow cave dive and within 10 seconds of hitting the water it drowned and never worked again. I had a backup dive light and had to rely on that. My footage from my GoPro is grainy and unusable because I was trying not hold a dive light in place of this one. Just spend the money and get something good.

works well, but caution for video
I bought this prior to a recent dive trip to cayman islands. It worked well for me, lasted through two dives per day, and may have gone longer, but I recharged it each night. as others have said, it works well within a short distance, but my only complaint, since it has 3 distinct leds, you can see, well, what shall I call it -- artifacts? light shadows? It is not a solid pure light. For amateurs (like me) it is good enough, but if you want high quality photos or video, keep looking.

Great for Mountain biking at night
This light is the perfect size to mount on my bike and has good power for its size. Have not fully tested battery life but should be solid. Nice that it has 2 built in mounting points

Great for cave diving
I went to Mexico last month for scuba diving. The light fits on my GoPro very well and provided a great deal of light in the caves. I feel that it was money well spent and I have over 150 dives over 30 years and quite a few night dives and this is by far the best light I have used.

Decent diving light, some minor issues
SO, after using this for a while, this review should provide some points I've experienced. For the most part, it's a light, decent but not great. In night diving, it will provide enough light for a close-up shot, but not quality for anything of distance >5' from subject. Also noticed that in my particular case, after running for say 10 minutes - it just stops working under water. No leaks, button is depressing - just refuses to light up. Come above surface, and everything is normal. I've used in 30' or less, as anything deeper is a waste of time given the quality of light.I've used it to take some close-ups of smaller fish, coral, and various plant life - but again, I've since bought much better lighting at a much higher price to get the quality of light I expect. I probably should have started there to begin with, but was looking for something that easily connected to the GoPro mounts for one hand operation.Overall - it works, some. And if you just need environmental light coverage, it may work well for you.
