ACURE Cond. Buildup Balancing Hemp & ACV 236ml

I used to wash my hair with the leading antidandruff shampoo and conditioner. I transitioned to Acure after I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition because it's helpful to limit environmental toxins (when you can) to decrease symptoms. I had no idea the positive effect this would have on my hair! After less than a week of using Acure's combo for hair with buildup, my hair became softer than it's been in years and my coworkers even asked what I was using in my hair because of how great it looked! Now, my hair is easier to style and doesn't get greasy as quickly as it did with the other brand (usually one day). I also notice less flaking and better scalp health in general. I'm truly amazed at how much of a difference this made. I've now been using it for 4 months and am never going back to harsh chemicals! These results are easily worth giving up fragrance and other additives. I did have to give it a few days to cleanse my hair/scalp of all the oils and buildup before it started really working well, so plan to use it for the first time over the weekend.

It's a VERY lightweight conditioner. I like it, but I also don't need a lot of moisture. My hair is generally oily by itself. It leaves my hair feeling normal. My daughter's hair is extremely fine and curly and her hair does fine with this too. It actually helped bring back some of her curls because it's so light weight. There is no smell to it other than the smell of the chemicals used to make it, which is faint. We stay away from fragrance and finding an essential oil conditioner that doesnt smell horrible and isnt expensive is hard. I could easily add my own essential oils to make it smell however I want. I'll be trying some more of their conditioners. It's not expensive and it does a decent job.

I’m cursed with tons of chemical sensitivities plus a massively over sensitive sense of smell. Suffice to say finding hair products is a challenge. I love this one so much. Not only does it work well, the smell is amazing. Most people probably wouldn’t smell much of anything, to me it has a lovely mild almost fruity smell that I find quite nice. It also doesn’t do that weird thing some conditioners do of leaving your hair smelling kind of like rancid oil. Once it’s washed out there is no smell at all. I absolutely recommend trying it if you’re like me and have any sort of fragrance sensitivities. If you don’t I still recommend trying it because it works great and you’ll help make the world a little bit safer for those of us who do! Emissions from the scents in personal care products in the morning rival the emission levels of rush hour traffic (seriously, the NOAA proved this in a study) so choosing something that doesn’t put those off is the kind choice for the planet too!

I just recently learned I have low porosity hair, and I was also tired of spending $40+ on just a shampoo from a big box store. This has great ingredients, leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean, has helped my scalp flakiness and build up from grease, and helped me still retain moisture in my hair! I highly recommend this product because it is worth the money - even though you're saving money!

Love that this brand has clean ingredients for an affordable price. I feel like this shampoo works well for me, for reference I have long straight hair, lots of it, but each strand is thin so I tend to lean on the oily side at my scalp.
