Great fit, size true
These shorts were a little pricey for me. However no others I tried were as flattering as these long shorts. Comfy with a little stretch, but very much the look of regular denim. I will be buying another pair!

NYDJ can do shorts well too!
I love these denim shorts. I haven't worn shorts for years - thought my legs would look "old". These hide what I want hidden and keep me cooler when it's hot so I love them. No surprise, NYDJ is the absolute only denim I'd ever buy again. If you've never tried them (Not Your Daughter's Jeans), I highly recommend!

Best shorts ever!
SO soft and comfy!

Legs flare out at the bottom
They fit true to size. I like how they fit up top. However the bottom of the short flares out and does is not what it looks like on the model. There was also a yellow piece of tape next to a black mark on the leg. I’m trying to decide whether to keep these and try taking them in on the legs with my sewing machine or sending them back. I ordered a size 10 and i’m glad I did. I’m between a 10 and a 12. Size 12 would have been too big.

Need a size 4? Then charge almost $20 more!
The size 6 was too big, I was about to place another order for a size 4...but they charge nearly $20 more for a size 4! What kind of a clothing company charges MORE for the same shorts of different sizes? I'm returning and not ordering from NYDJ again.

Comfortable denim short
Love the way NYDJ holds tummy in. There is some stretch. I size down - should be snug as will stretch out. I am 5’7” and my height is in my legs. I wear a size 8 and the shorts are just above my knees.

Comfortable with cotton material
These shorts were exactly what I was looking for. I love the feel of the soft cotton. I wished they’d come in other colours.

Horrible
Horrible, the pants are size 14 and I ordered a size 8. Someone glued a tag onto the logo to cover the real logo.
