This style of spacer makes tiling much, much easier. Those traditional ones bend, get stuck in the mastic and basically make a mess. These go in easily and help define level. Cleanup is a breeze

PROS:- Use only 1 tile-spacer where the 4 tiles meet.- Can be inserted in the corners, as well as in the staight grout lines.- Blue tile-spacers indicate 3/16" (5mm) groutline.CONS:- Are tile-spacers really needed?- Wish they would come in packs of 250, instead of only 100 or 500 pcs.

These are great. I started using the cheap spacers from a big box and found them annoying and fiddly. Using the Tavy spacers is faster and easier than the ones I used before. They are well work the expense.

I always have at least 1 500pc box of each of the spacer sizes I use. I refuse to work with the old "white cross" style spacers. These spacers are very accurate, easy to use while wearing gloves and can last and be reused for many projects. I highly recommend them for professionals and DIY'rs who have real attention to detail.
