FITSHIT Sandbag for Training Workouts - Heavy Duty - Durable Functional Fitness Weighted Sandbags (Large, Black). {Sand not Included}

First off the ratings are not correct. I am to give 5 stars on a product that is SUPPOSED to be uncomfortable!! I purchased this to include sand bag training ( of which I am a novice to) to my workout regimen. I have the medium bag which comes with 3 inner sand bags. All are well made. The inner bags have a double very thick velcro closing system and while I have lost minimal sand, that it to be expected. It is after all...sand and easily and cheaply replaced from your local hardware store. The outer bag is very well constructed with both a sturdy zipper closure reinforced by some very serious snap closures. The multiple handles are well stitched and include rubber grips. I am not brutal on my workout equipment but nor am I overly gentle. When working out on my drive way, I place the sand bag on a sit up mat to prevent abrasion, but it does get slammed and dropped and up to this point it has held up without a single loose stitch. I have found sandbag training to be challenging and well worth adding to my program. If I had to purchase another sandbag today to replace this one I would buy it from this company again. Great stitching, I RECOMMEND YOU TO GET 2 ROLLS OF DUCT TAPE AND NOT THE CHEAP STUFF EITHER AND WRAPP YOUR FILLER BAGS! JUST LEAVE THE OPENING UNWRAPPED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.The team who runs this company are amazing someone took a knife to my internal bags and they replaced them asap! Like it took literally 4 days in total from time i messaged and when i received the replacement bags. I always recommend this bag to any of my buddies3 year review- bought this 2019 (green large) I have used it extensively almost everyday, and I haven’t been kind to it. Squats, shrugs, throws, drops, cleans, presses, rucks, and slams it ha seen it all! I have brought it throughout the USA and traveling is a breeze when it’s just a bag and not full. I see myself getting a new one when this one finally hits the bucket, but until then I will continue the abuse I have given this bag! Due to the lock downs, gyms were closed and dumbbells were all sold out or heavily marked up. So, I decided to try alternative workouts like using this sandbag at home. These bags are great for working out all the different parts of your body in new ways that balance strength, stability and core all-in-one. For example, using these bags, you can do exercises like clean-to-split squats with less chance of injury because the handles on the bag make it easy to grip and flip the bag around.The bags are very well designed. I really like how the grips have both a plastic sheath and a plastic bar inside the fabric. This makes moving the bag up and down during reps a whole lot easier than if you were just gripping a strap or handle. I filled my bags with gravel instead of sand and they work just fine. No leaks what so ever.I would highly suggest getting some sandbag specific fitness posters so you get some good ideas about what exercises to do and where to grip on the bag.

Purchased the bag right here on Amazon back in late 2017. Had been doing CrossFit for a couple of years and really enjoyed more strongman type workouts, so bought this to supplement that at home. I've used it for movements as simple as deadlifts and as complex as snatch along with just about everything in between and several carries (long walks, short runs) - it has stood up to everything. Now, I definitely don't use it everyday, but feel confident in saying it was probably used 6-8 times per month over this three year period and above average usage when all the gyms had to close due to corona. It's been thrown down on gravel roads some, but mostly in my garage or driveway at the end of runs. I have never treated this bag with kindness and have tried to push it to it's limits. It's never let me down and stood up to everything I've dished at it. Great product!

I waited about a month or so after having this thing to review it, putting it through stressful outdoor workouts including sandbag throws and tossing it in the dirt after military presses.Gotta say, not bad! The only complaint I have with it is that the handles are very, VERY uncomfortable which unfortunately prevents a five star review. I have pretty calloused hands from lifting rusty weights at my local dude-bro gym, and even I was feeling some discomfort and irritation from using it. For the value though, this thing can’t be beat, especially since most brands charge you an arm and a leg for a literal bag with bags in it.

it is great if you dont deviate from standard exercises: clean, front squat, rows, etc. i had the sandbag for a while but it wasnt until recently that i could only use it due to limited availability of equipment. i filled the bag with about 70-80 pounds of beach sand. doing snatches stretched the handles. ok, not a big deal. started doing bulgarian bag swings but that did a little tear on the left hand side end handle.

I've love this sandbag and have done numerous workouts with it in the 2 months since I have owned it. The various handles are awesome, the variable filling is great, the design overall of the product is excellent. It is a really great product. And now the negative, which prompted me to write this review. One of the inner sandbags had a seam for the velcro rip away already (this was inside the main bag) and that bag is now useless as an inner sandbag. And that brings me to the topic of there being no support available via the FitSh*t website, so I am left wondering whether I can get it replaced or whether I will be obliged to shell out $30 for 2 replacement inner sandbags.

I really like these for the price. The quality seems to be good as so far these have withstood being slammed, dragged, thrown and carried. I like the longer bags makes for a more even carry. There does seem to be too much bag then needed for what the max amount of weight it should carry and does make it hard to do cleans or transition from shoulders to front but not a big deal.
