UbiQuiti U-POE+

The Ubiquiti U-POE+ is a simple but very useful bit of kit for powering a PoE+ device when a PoE switch is not available or when you only need to add power to a single network connection. Setup could not be easier. Connect the injector to the mains, plug the network cable from your router or switch into the LAN port, then connect the PoE output to the device. Within a few moments, the connected equipment is powered and online without needing a separate power supply near the installation point. I used it with Ubiquiti equipment and it worked exactly as expected. Power delivery has been stable, the connection has remained reliable and there have been no random dropouts or overheating issues. It feels solid and well made, which is reassuring when it may be left tucked away behind furniture or installed in a network cupboard for years. The compact design is also useful. It is small enough not to dominate a socket area, and the clean white finish matches other Ubiquiti hardware nicely. There are no unnecessary controls, bright displays or settings to configure. It simply sits there quietly doing its job, which is exactly what a PoE injector should do. It is particularly handy for access points, cameras and other network devices installed where a mains socket would be inconvenient. Running one Ethernet cable for both data and power keeps the installation much neater and avoids the usual collection of extra plugs and trailing leads. It may not be the most exciting purchase in the network cabinet, but it is dependable, easy to install and does precisely what it promises. Five stars for being gloriously boring in the best possible way.

Great piece of kit. Well made, and well worth it.

It arrived with a European plug which is disappointing. I ordered from UK on Amazon app as normal, Nov 2024. Reviews suggest some people receive UK plug, others European. Regardless, once I sorted the plug issue, it works perfectly with my Ubiquiti AP 6+

CAUTION TO UK BUYERS This seems to come only with a EU Plug. I've had to return (and bought elsewhere that includes the UK Plug in the cost).

Comes with an EU plug which the seller doesn’t put in the description for the item. It works fine but a bit of an inconvenience to have to buy another cable with a UK plug

I was unsure about this POE injector. Having a UDM SE which only provides 1Gbe POE+ I wanted to give the U7 Pro the full speed it deserves. Plugged U7 Pro into this POE+ injector, connected into non POE 10Gb switch. I was pleasantly surprised that it connected perfectly at 2.5Gbe and can see no issues. Hopefully this review helps others, as it is unclear if it was just a 1Gb POE+ injector. But it works perfectly with a Unifi U7 Pro. Supplied with both an EU and a UK plug power cable.

Ich nutze den Ubiquiti U-POE-at PoE+ Adapter mit 30W, um ein kompatibles Gerät im Netzwerk mit Strom zu versorgen, ohne ein separates Netzteil verwenden zu müssen. Der Anschluss ist unkompliziert: LAN-Kabel vom Router in den Adapter, zweites Kabel ins Endgerät – danach läuft alles stabil. Seitdem arbeitet das Gerät zuverlässig, ohne Aussetzer, und der Adapter verrichtet unauffällig seinen Dienst. Gut gefällt mir, dass der Adapter genug Leistungsreserve bietet, um auch leistungshungrigere Geräte mit PoE+ zu versorgen. Das Gehäuse wirkt solide, die Anschlüsse sitzen fest und im Betrieb wird der Adapter zwar warm, aber nicht besorgniserregend heiß. Da er passiv arbeitet, gibt es keine Geräusche, was für den Einsatz im Büro oder Wohnbereich angenehm ist. Natürlich ist es „nur“ ein Netzteil, aber genau da ist mir wichtig, dass es einfach funktioniert und man sich nicht darum kümmern muss – und das ist hier der Fall. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem U-POE-at sehr zufrieden: einfache Handhabung, stabile Versorgung und ausreichend Leistung. Dafür vergebe ich gern volle 5 Sterne.

Affidabilità Ubiquiti anche sull’alimentazione: perfetto per ambienti professionali e domestici ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Acquistato per alimentare un dispositivo UniFi compatibile tramite standard PoE+ (802.3at), questo adattatore ha svolto il suo lavoro in maniera impeccabile. Costruzione solida, compatibilità piena con l’intero ecosistema Ubiquiti, tensione stabile e potenza di 30W che consente di supportare anche dispositivi ad alto assorbimento come Access Point Mesh o videocamere. Il plug è robusto, il case è ben progettato e non si surriscalda nemmeno dopo ore di funzionamento continuo. Il cavo incluso è di buona qualità, anche se personalmente consiglio di abbinarlo a cablaggi CAT6 schermati per una performance ottimale. Essenziale per chi vuole evitare switch PoE quando basta un solo dispositivo da alimentare. Silenzioso, sicuro e certificato: promosso a pieni voti.
