Not worth it, received an open item
I received an open item, most probably a return, very sketchy as there is a reason why this come sealed, the earring itself is nice, I am not sure whether to use it as it was open.

Nice
The only issue I had was that this is a deceptive piercer. It's a bigger size (16g) than a normal earring (18g) and the tip of the part that actually pierces your ear isn't straight, but leveled into a point. Making the piercing more painful. So you want a 16 gauge, and are ok with a strange point to the piercer, then this is for you. Thankfully my cartilage was already gauged to that size and I could use them. They haven't tarnished and the stone is still in tact. Sturdy earrings none the less.

Just what I wanted/needed
My ears are so sensitive that my 14K gold earrings were irritating them. I really like wearing earrings, so I looked at niobium, titanium, etc. Stainless steel seemed worth a try, and these earrings were priced right. I didn't want to spend much money before I knew whether my ears would tolerate them. I chose CZ rather than just plain, because I like the look better.Amazon's seller shipped the earrings out really quickly. I ordered them on a Friday or Saturday night, received them by Thursday. I think they look pretty good, and, best of all, my ears are not reacting to them! I originally bought these for a trial run, with thoughts of getting nicer earrings once I knew my reaction to stainless steel, but these earrings could very well become my everyday/sleeper earrings. The CZ's are in a size that is smallish and tasteful, rather than screaming, "Hey, fake diamonds here!" They're probably the equivalent of 1/10 carat diamond for each earring, but with the bezel setting, it appears to be a little larger than that. I'm actually so pleased with this pair, I'll probably be buying mostly Studex for myself and my kids from now on.

Nice if i had a piercing gun
The stud is for a piercing gun not for just free hand but it will get the job done if you needing to re-pierce.

The worst thing I've ever ordered off the internet!
They are NOT piercing studs, you HAVE to have a piercing gun or they are worthless, my "sterilized" package they came in was tore and they are so tiny and awkward that you can't use them in already pierced ears my mom tried and they just made her ear hurt because they wouldn't go all the way in, I will NEVER buy them again, none of them! They are completely horrible and a waste of money, and the customer service on the website is crap too, they won't even give you information, they never respond to emails. It's a waste of time and money. Very unhappy with this product and seller! You need to make your description more clear, because some people want earrings they can use without a piercing gun!

Perfect for re-piercing and as sleepers
I'm very happy with these studs. I had to re-pierce my own ears and these went in easily and have been comfortable from the get-go. When I talk on the phone, sleep, or anything that would involve my ears, I do not notice these earrings at all - they are that comfortable. They also look nice. I haven't taken them out since I put them in several weeks ago and the cubic zirconia are still sparkly and I still get compliments on them. They are the same size as any typical piercing stud. If I ever lose these,I would definitely buy them again.

Stainless Steel Studex Studs
I have these in amethyst and emerald. They are a good size for multiple piercings, and the colors are bright. I was actually quite pleased the first time I saw them in good lighting, because I was not expecting them to be as sparkly, as they look a bit dark from some angles. One thing that wasn't mentioned - these piercing studs are a bit thicker than standard 20-gauge earrings (approx. 18-gauge, I think). Or at least, the main part of the stud is. The sharp, pointed tip is thinner, and then there is a rather sharp edge where it gets thicker. I did not use them for piercing, but getting the edged bit through healed piercings was uncomfortable enough that I can't imagine how this is a good design for piercing with (a professional piercer with a sharp needle is going to be hurt less and heal faster than any gun.) Still, if you just want inexpensive, decent-quality earrings that won't make your ears itchy, a handful of these will do the trick. The backings are not so good. After first putting them on, the backings were so tight it took a LOT of pulling and wiggling to get them loose. But after that, the backs don't stay on, and I squeeze them a bit to retighten them each time I put them on again.Compared to "Inverness" piercing studs, these are considerably cheaper (especially can find them at Sally Beauty shop or eleswhere - similar price and avoid the shipping cost). Just for comparison, the Inverness studs I have(bought at Walmart) were the standard thickness with no awkward edges, and the tips did seem rather sharper too. In addition, I love the Inverness backings, which are little caps (also tight at first, but after loosening a little, remained secure). On the down side, the Inverness crystal studs I have are very dull and kind of ugly in comparison.Edited to add: I have found a painless trick to removing the tight backings for these (or I suppose any butterfly-style backings that are super tight). Stick a bobby pin through one (or both, if you're dexterous enough to get it maneuvered back there) of the loops and slide halfway down the bobby pin. You can grip the pin with two fingers on either side of the back, and hold on to the front. This is way easier than trying to pull on the backing alone, somehow.

The only earrings I wear
I am allergic to most metals so I decided to try Stainless Steel....I bought these over a year ago, and I have had no problems whatsoever. The earrings are still in perfect condition. The picture makes them look larger than they are, they are just little piercing studs. Also, since they are piercing studs, they are gauged a tiny bit bigger than regular earrings.
