The book is very sturdy with captivating pictures. Good book to teach children colors.

Vibrant colors and cute pictures but the yellow and orange colors are very disappointing.They are basically the same color.The Toucan is yellow but the lion is orange on a yellow background.The tiger and lion are almost the same color.

This book is lovely overall, but I'm really annoyed that the lion on the yellow page is very clearly orange rather than yellow! It's the exact same shade of orange as the background on the actual orange page. Why did they do this? It's just confusing. I also don't love that the background of the black page is white and the background of the white page is black, but I think making the "yellow" lion orange is even worse. I may send the book back and pick a different colors book because of this, I don't want it to be confusing for a very young toddler.That issue aside, the illustrations are very appealing, the variety of objects pictured is nice, and I like the different shades of colors used on each page, the yellow one aside. For the most part, the illustrator made everything on each 2 page spread the color that is being emphasized, just different shades of that color. For some reason the waves on the blue page are white instead of blue (weird choice!), but okay.

My baby girl is obsessed with this book. Specially when I add the sound effects! Totally recommend it!

Jane Foster's illustrations are very engaging for babies, the bold lines and bright colors making simple shapes fascinates my 6 month old. Her ABC book is our favorite, but it's nice to mix it up with some of her others. If you do have multiple Jane Foster baby books, you will notice she reuses illustrations, which is actually really nice for babies to see familiar things in new books.There are the usual colors, in no particular order, but then there are a few unexpected colors like turquoise. The examples for each color are not necessarily things that are always that color either (orange bowl, pink handbag, etc.) which is unique. This is definitely a great board book for learning colors.

Simple pages, fun colors, keeps my son engaged and he seems to really enjoy this book .

Great for practicing color and word association. My son (21 mo) loves when we reach the back of the book where he can see all the objects on one page. High quality and doesn’t have a ton of content but he chooses it for bedtime wading regularly!

The "must to have" book for your toddler. Very bright, high contrast illustrations. This is exactly what your baby needs.
