The edges are pretty rough so you need to smooth them a bit to avoid cutting yourself or costs but otherwise I like these. I can clean them quite a few times before being to replace.

I bought these nail boards in the most coarse ones sold to be used to file my dog's nails. They worked very well.

I have farmer hands/ fingers. You know those 15 pairs of gloves i dont use? I work my hands hard. In the garden, in the barn. When i do remember the gloves, the dirt still gets in. Dries out your fingers.I scrub with a nailbrush and no matter what soap i use it dries my hands out. Moisturize, then pull some more weeds and wash again.So. I have torn nails and I get cracks on the tips of my fingers.Those of you who get them know how painful they are.I bought the 240. It smooths my rough nail tips, and gets that dry skin on my finger tips before it cracks.I totally recommend these for the farmer/ gardener finger tips and nails!!I have decent nails, no cracks, no jagged edges.So awesome, i recommend them!!
