2 Piece- UCP207-20 Pillow Block Bearing 1-1/4 inch Size Bore, Solid Base, Self-Alignment by Jeremywell

These Pillow Block bearings are complete garbage. The size I purchased was listed as 1.25 inches. What I got measured at 1.14 inches. Without a lot of modifications on the shaft or pillow block, there was no way a 1.25 inch steel shaft would ever fit. They are not aligned at a 45 degree angle either. See photo. They are advertised as having "Self-Alignment". That is a fantasy. They will not move one thousandth of an inch into the 45 degree angle to allow for use on either end of a shaft or axle. Nope they have a 15 degree down slope towards the mounting surface. So if your axle is shaped like a macaroni noodle they might work , otherwise these are just ugly paperweights. The castings are rough and finished poorly, which they have attempted to hide with a thick baked on paint. They were not successful in that deception either. The shaft collars show massive gaps and pitting, which are indicative of powdered metals castings done with too low of a temperature. The races feel like they are full of metal shavings and my guess that no matter what grease they were packed with they would fail after a very short time. I have sent them back for a refund, which was done quite easily. Thank you Amazon for that convenience. These were garbage and a waste of time and money. I personally would never buy them again, or anything else made by this company if this is indicative of their production standards.

They are very ridged very reasonably priced. My roller is much more user-friendly now that it has bearings.

My hubby says that these pillow block bearings were great quality and worked perfect for hhis home made com-poster. They were easy to install as well.
