This works perfectly for carrying a single 1911 to the range. It also fits a few hundred rounds, extra mags, ear protection, glasses, small tools, oil, and snake with room to spare. I have it packed pretty heavy and it seems like it'll be durable for a long time with this weight. I keep the pistol in its OWB holster in the bag and only slip it through the long internal strap without using the provided small barrel straps. Everything stays in place just fine. I don't use the shoulder strap as it seems a bit inadequate and uncomfortable for the weight. The bag was smashed a bit from packing but I stuffed it with its own packing material and some newspaper overnight and it went right into shape. Definitely will be getting another to keep ready to use for my other pistol.

This bag adequately contain two of my handguns along with plenty of ammunition in my magazines. Sturdy and I like that I can lock it as well.

Really wanted to like it its a good looking bag and made well. My issue is that it made for two guns. On one side of each compartment there is a velcro strap sewn into the sides thats great. Then they provide a loop fasterner that you can place where you like to hold the barrel of the gun thus keeping it still inside the bag. The problem is that both of these loop fasteners do not grip the side wall as the receiving material is too smooth for the velcro on the straps to work. The net result is guns that move around freely inside the pockets. making it useless as a gun storage bag..

Very well made and durable. Was able to put 3 compact pistols without any issues.
