The ring I have is 10mm across the halo. How much of an opening gap would there be if I used this box?

So unfortunately that is already larger than the maximum allowed diameter of a ring (which is 9.5mm). The box would not fully close and may not rotate properly with a ring that is larger than the maximum allowed size.

Does it rotate on its own as you open the box? Or do you have to manually turn the ring after you open the box?

The rotation of the ring holder is coupled to the opening of the box so as you open the lids, the ring will automatically rotate. It will then rotate in reverse once you close the box.

Would this work with an oval diamond? Measurements: 10.75 x 7.47 x 4.63 mm

Unfortunately that will not fit. The largest dimension that can fit cannot be over 9.5mm so your ring would unfortunately not fit and the box would not close.

Is this case ring size specific, because i know some ring cases are for certain mm and type of setting and stuff like that?

The ring case fits diamonds that have a maximum diameter of 9.5mm, which is about equivalent to a 3.25 carat circular solitaire diamond ring. If the diamond is a different shape, then you would need to ensure that the largest dimension is still under 9.5mm. Shapes such as marquis and princess cuts have larger diagonal dimensions and may hit the walls as the ring holder turns or may not close properly. Ring Stash also comes with two interchangeable ring holders that fit ring finger sizes from 3 to 12. You can simply pop out the ring holder from the stem at the base of the ring box so that you use the appropriately sized ring holder to your ring (finger) size.
